Biden calls for 3 month OUTDOOR national mask mandate

Let's conduct a scientific experiment. I'll wear a mask as Mr. Biden has suggested if you supporters of Mr. Trump will inject bleach into your bodies as Mr. Trump has suggested. Then we can determine who lives longer.

What?
I have no intention of wearing a mask outdoors at all times. But there are outdoor situations were people are close together, and yes I'm good with requiring a mask under those situations.

Frankly, I'd like to see the police enforce the current laws more effectively. I was in a store yesterday. A small one, there were only four other customers. But not one was wearing a mask, despite state law mandating masks indoors like that. Only the clerk and I were following state law!

Where are those overbearing policemen when you need them? Where's the tear gas and unmarked vans?

I think we’re on the same page.

Where I think the fed can help is in having strong leadership
inspiring the states & the populace to create & honor useful
rules. This is where Trump has failed miserably.
That's why Biden is the best hope. We need an actual president, not a carnival barker selling tickets to a side-show spectacle with himself as the main act.

Perhaps, but I'll take anyone who can act like a real president at this point. I'd even be happy with George W. Bush. Trump makes you appreciate just about anything else. :)
GW Bush was even worse than Trump.
Remember the 2 devastating wars he started?
Try as he might to be the worst Prez ever, Trump fails even at that.

Oh, you know, a "Who's Worse?" thread might be interesting. Create it with a basic polling question. I'll bet the the Orange pile will much larger, gelatinous, and stinkier that Bush's. At least Bush was a person. :)

There already is one.
The U.S.-Centric, Hyperbolic Political Game and "Trump Is the Worst POTUS Ever"
Ostensibly about Trump, other Presidents were nominated as worse & worst.

Being a person can be a terrible thing.
The death & destruction under Dubya was intentional.
Of course he must share the blame with a bi-partisan
coalition of Dems & Pubs in Congress, who authorized
his wars.

@Revoltingest

You were right. It is not certain that the federal government can do that. States can.
People are getting sick and tired of continual state mandates.

Considering the hostile environment we live in these days, I doubt the police are going to do much by way of enforcement towards people who refuse wear a mask outdoors.

Unless published and peer reviewed information gets put out, people have done enough on their part already.

Its time to take the hits and move on.

Yeah, I feel for you. I am glad I live in the lucky part of the EU.

The thing is people dont know who to trust anymore. There is so much lying and misinformation out there now its extremely hard to disguinish who's being sincere and who's being manipulative.

Let's look at the three months.

Does Biden mean right now or three months after he probably gets elected? I would prefer a more clear candidate who can articulate and explain what they say and why.

Then you clearly must not be thinking of Donald. He's about as clear and articulate as a slug spitting slime from it's mouth.

Here's something funny I just happened to see on YouTube a few moments ago that goes to answer that. Do you think the answers that Trump gives to the sincere question of him, "which verses of the Bible are your favorite", indicate someone you're not sure you can believe, or that you should distrust?

For me, it's as obvious as the noon-day sun the man is not truthful. The lies flow from his mouth like incontinent bowels, and he thinks we are all too dumb to see it. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to be able to discern a fabricator of lies from an honest person. Just watch this:

Do you want the same thing?

I think Biden is more personable, like Obama, but certainly he's no more clearer than Trump is.
