Yes, I put the correct date on the paperwork. From what I recall. LOL I got nothing. Not a thing.
Having applied for two grants (state not federal, neither one was complete in an hour and both required going back and talking to them to fix shortcomings, some not obvious from the paperwork so just getting a first refusal is not uncommon. At the very least call them and find out why, they don't explain unless you ask. It is like going to the DMV. getting through in one shot except for when a dealer does it on a new car is rare, but eventually you can.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

Which is one of many reasons why I do not have a lot of confidence in government at any level.

Johnson replied, “We’ll be back in session immediately after the election.”
Federal auditors found that FEMA is sitting on at least $73 billion in unused funds from other emergencies, some dating back more than 20 years. There is $7 billion that can be returned, immediately, and used for the current relief efforts.

FEMA over estimates its needs, so it can squirrel away extra cash, that gets tied up and ripped off. Johnson wants to address this stash of cash when Congress returns. Congress can make a law to get it back.

A similar thing happened to the COVID fund, after it was announced COVID was done. Something like a $100 billion was stolen or misappropriated. That money is supposed to be return after the emergency is done.

Millions in FEMA funds remain unused as Hurricane Milton looms

Washington Times - Right Center Bias - Conservative - Republican - Mostly Credible
Factual Reporting: Mixed - Not always Credible or Reliable

QUESTIONABLE SOURCE

A questionable source exhibits one or more of the following: extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency, and/or is fake news. Fake News is the deliberate attempt to publish hoaxes and/or disinformation for profit or influence (Learn More). Sources listed in the Questionable Category may be very untrustworthy and should be fact-checked on a per-article basis. Please note sources on this list are not considered fake news unless specifically written in the reasoning section for that source. See all Questionable sources.
  • Although the Washington Times has an extreme right editorial bias, they report straight news with a much lower bias. Therefore, we rate them right-center biased overall. We also rate them Questionable and factually mixed due to poor sourcing, holding editorial positions contrary to scientific consensus, and numerous failed fact checks.
You have to do better than this if you want to be taken seriously.

And that is horrible....until you read the actual report from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General

Reading it you find that most of the funds being talked about were in fact earmarked for large project construction of things like sea walls, emergency shelters and the like. The money sits there but FEMA can't use it without authorization from the DHS and they can't authorize using the funds without congressional oversight. The DHS is recommending to the oversight committee that these projects be closed out and either the funds returned or freed up for FEMA to use.

Wow a conservative news outlet lying....what are the odds?

So you can't demonstrate it. Surprise! It's just empty rhetoric, not rooted in reality. Like the stuff Trump says.
I have many times. I actually started a thread discussing why I am supporting Trump. All I got was insults instead of discussion. I am done with that.
Yes, I hate people who sexually assault people and defame them. Not sure why you don't and I find that rather alarming. All because Trump's policies are so great? What policies??
I don't either.

I met my burden of proof. You haven't.

I didn't insult you. I made my case. You just ran away from your claims about Kamala.

I don't either.
And yet you wholeheartedly support Trump.
How's that cognitive dissonance feel?
