Bill Cosby has been found guilty of 3 accounts of assault. Will he be serving prison time? What are your thoughts on his conviction?
I was familiar with this, it was hard not be in the U.S.. Cosby at one time was called "America's Dad", no black, no white. He helped to bring he races together through humor. In a sense I feel the loss of a family member as a result.I haven't watched the case, but I was very much a fan of his before all this.

I remember as a kid, my parents has a bunch of Bill Cosby albums I used to listen to over and over.
I guess it just show how much we really know about anyone.
They just recently caught the Golden State Killer... A serial killer back in the 70's. Now a father, grandfather. His kids knew nothing of his past. I imagine that's quite a shock finding out your father was an evil man.
Golden State Killer suspect was a recluse, neighbors say - CNN
My father was an evil man but I never met him so no biggie.

The best we can do is to continue to like the other things he did and distance his good persona from the one we've now learned about.Same here. I still refer to funny scenes from his 1984/85 Himself monologue. There's no question in my mind that in the area of family humor, he was king. This is sad all the way around.

Right? Sheesh...It's about time.
So,The former Temple University basketball administrator told jurors she took three blue pills from Cosby, which she thought were herbal, to help with stress while at his Cheltenham, Pennsylvania home in January 2004.
So,
Constand went to Cosby's house, asked for drugs, took the pills Cosby offered, then had sex.
Sleazy, definitely. Criminal? I don't buy that.
Maybe that's why I am not a feminist. I think women are capable of making their own decisions and taking responsibility for the outcome of those decisions. That makes me an egalitarian, not a feminist.

I guess we will just have to disagree. If someone misrepresents what the pills are that are being offered to them then yes it is rape. If I offer someone that trusts me aspirin for a headache and it turns out to be rohypnol, then yes that is rape.
