Why do you say that?
The man is the most notorious monster of our time and you call him a hero.
Odd that you're advocating Ghandi and a bloodthirsty whore at the same time.
Here's Matthew 5:43-5:48:
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

That's not an excuse to call a murderer a hero. Or any other violently nasty thing.
That's a blatant advocation and approval of the violence he committed, and clearly not what Ghandi would do.
Suppose an 'evil' man does skydiving (just an example that comes to mind), I'll call him 'brave' simply because I may not have the courage to do the same. It doesn't change the fact that he's 'evil', but neither does it dilute his courage.

Heroic to certain of his people, absolutely. Highly educated no doubt.
Villain, because his agenda, his vision, slaughtered Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
And now, he's quite surprised.
Yes, I know. Of all the people a God created he made radical Muslims without a sense of humor.Threats and declarations of Fatwa and going into hiding so as to live through it, is not indicative of a religion of peace.
Good thing I'm atheist.

Do you really believe that "atheists" are less likely to commit themselves to violence? Religion was not the primary reason for OBL's actions, it was the reality of the modern world and the corruption and destruction of his compatriots.Me too. I guess for some people peace means to slaughter those who don't fit your agenda of peace (religion).
Really? You credit him for that?
