Revelation all the time
If Texas was a country (hey....Hmmmmmm...) it would rank as the 13th largest economy in the world.

That's interesting, because your 'country' happened to also produce the 13th best team in the NFC last year. :D

We can't be number one in everything. Besides that, I'm a New Orlean's Saints fan.

The Dallas Cowboys share the record of most Superbowl appearances (8) with one other team (Pittsburg Steelers). The Cowboys are the only NFL team to record 20 consecutive winning seasons (1966–1985), in which they only missed the playoffs twice (1974 and 1984), an NFL record that remains unbroken and unchallenged. It remains one of the longest winning streaks in all of professional sports.

They are also the wealthiest team in the NFL, and the highest valued sports franchise in the history of the US.

Like I said, I'm a Saints fan myself - but I'm pretty pleased with those Cowboys most of the time.

Big? Hah!
If you can see the far shore, it's what Meechiganders call a "pond" or "puddle".

That may be true, but here in Texas we prefer our lake water to be ice free - all year 'round.

All we require of a lake is big, cooperative fish, clean water, a breeze, and enough stump-free space to haul *** across without worrying about getting thrown for a loop.

Yep, we like our lakes - and all our other cool stuff too. Oh, and did I mention our booming Texas economy?

The booming what? I don't know that word...."economy".
It does sound vaguely & distantly familiar.

Well, when it goes "boom" I'll be glad I'm in Texas.

Who knows, before it's all said and done, we may be climbing that stupid fence down in south Texas trying to get into Mexico!
