That's an interesting thing for her to say. So is Ms. Jenner going to start using the men's room? I mean, there's a case to made that she's just a transvestite. I recall her being bullied at CPAC last year, I think it was, being misgendered and deadnamed by some ******* harassing her. Ironic.

To be fair, this “sort of thing” has happened in all minority groups going back decades.
What I’m referring to is someone within a minority group apparently slamming another for a perceived slight against the majority. If that makes sense?
I’ve seen trans women say what Miss Jenner has said over the years. (Blaire White comes to mind. I recall she was in a video call with some of her supposed political allies a while back and they just trashed her. It was a bit hard to watch, honestly. She just looked so depressed.)
I’ve seen gay folks say things against their peers and often espousing things that can easily be perceived as homophobic. Etc

Differing groups have their own slang for it. I believe once upon a time in America it was referred to as being an “Uncle Tom.” Is that right?

My community has a few different terms for it.
Mostly in Hindi. I believe one rough translation would be “foot kisser” but I’m not 100% sure if that’s entirely accurate. As I’ve heard it said in a much harsher tone than the translation would imply. Eh.

Not that I’m saying that being a minority means that one has to “follow their peers” so to speak. Obviously. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

It’s just a phenomenon I’ve seen happen in a lot of differing minority communities over the years.
I think the shrinks like to call it “internalised racism/homophobia/transphobia etc”

People say that about Donald Trump and in that case it appears to just mean that he can be as rude and uncivil as he wants. I don't know much about Jenner, but I have to wonder if it's a similar thing. Both seem to revel in being in the spotlight whether it's good or bad publicity, and "calling out things as they are" when you have a vast platform is a good way to do that whether it true and sincere or not.

Yeah, and it's very offensive to call someone that. It's also offensive to think that just because someone is part of a "minority", we all must share the same political and social beliefs. So if you don't vote Democratic, you're seen as some sort of traitor. It's bs. Not everyone's mind is dominated by identity politics.
