Even if they don't vote, if they're counted in the census. The only people eligible to vote are citizens of America.
Then there's California.
Illegals in California with Driver's Licenses Eligible to Vote After April 1
For years there were news reports every so often wherein some loon group in California threatened to secede from America. Got lots of attention and then faded away till next time. Now, California appears to be doing all it can to demonstrate it did secede . While still enjoying commerce and federal benefits.
Even without specification, the justices would likely look to original intent. The Constitution doesn't specify laws regarding primary elections.
Or he could release his tax returns.
Interesting how "state's rights" don't matter to Republicans and Conservatives when it's something they don't like.
What? Are you crazy?
I wouldn't. Even without something to hide, I'd suspect the opposition would find a way to make a mountain out of a molehill.
No doubt, Trump has plenty of questionable shenanigans with his taxes dealing with that much money. Why offer the Democrats more ammo?
Well of course.Even if they don't vote, if they're counted in the census,
they give proportional representation power in Congress.
Would you have said the same had a vet criticized Obama while he was in office? I doubt it.You should be ashamed how you slander your commander in chief.
I'm saddened to read a self-identified veteran displays such disrespect for their service and their country by promoting anti-Trump propaganda anonymously on-line.
Opinions are divided on that.Well of course.
However, the point being, they're not actually entitled to vote.
And Trump might have wanted to end that. He did want the noncitizens counted separately.Opinions are divided on that.
But they are represented in Congress the Electoral College.
Not surprising now days.Opinions are divided on that.
But they are represented in Congress the Electoral College.
The Constitution & legislation are tough reading. And Trump might have wanted to end that. He did want the noncitizens counted separately.
What that tells me about you is that you take great satisfaction in being verbally abusive.
How very tragic for those who encounter you off-line.
You should be ashamed how you slander your commander in chief.

Looking forward to being put back on your ignore list.
How did you manage to be subject to the draft...which I gather from your post?Fine, then put me on ignore. My service during Vietnam Era was not voluntary, and I almost went to Canada because I did not support the war. So, for me my service carries more value. The fact that our President, a draft avoider, is such a womanizer, molester, and mob actuary makes it doubly hard.
I put you on ignore because I did not like your Nazi Republican stance, and now that you have made accusations of me, plan to ignore you again. I put you on ignore because I did not wish to fight with you. That makes me verbally abusive? LOL
Except the bill doesn't say Trump can't be on the primary ballot, rather that you have to release your taxes to be on the state ballot. Of course we all know it's aimed at Trump, but courts requires concrete facts and hard evidence.Even without specification, the justices would likely look to original intent.
I'm confident that they'd be loath to grant states the power to decide
which major candidates can be excluded. Legal rationale can always
be constructed when they've a compelling interest in a particular outcome.
That was prohibited straight from the start with the First Amendment.Same for anti-religious folk who don't want religious text on govt property.
Indeed. He obtained a deferment due to being enrolled in college as was his right. Vietnam was an illegal war He had every right not to participate in that evil, as you said. How did you manage to be subject to the draft...which I gather from your post?
As for avoiding the draft...that's a wise thing to do.
I give Trump credit for not submitting to that evil.
I didn't mention the primary.Except the bill doesn't say Trump can't be on the primary ballot, rather that you have to release your taxes to be on the state ballot. Of course we all know it's aimed at Trump, but courts requires concrete facts and hard evidence.
I say it is far worse to serve in a war one doesn't support.Indeed. He obtained a deferment due to being enrolled in college as was his right. Vietnam was an illegal war He had every right not to participate in that evil, as you said.
