Can Christians fall from God's Grace

Galatians 5:4 :run:
Galatians 5

Christians generally are under the grace of God more than if they were to not believe in Christ and reject his atoning sacrifice..

Christians sin and are "buffeted" by Satan, but generally are under the blood of Jesus Christ...

There is great hope in believing in Christ who covers all sin...

Just calling out to Christ to save us from this world makes a huge difference and voicing our testimonies to others even if we aren't completely in line with Christ's teachings...

What a nice and tidy little safety net you have concocked.
I have already seen first hand how you use the No True Scotsman to drive this fantasy home.

One day I hope to be in Heaven with you Mestemia. I want to see you recieve your crowns for all the souls you brought to Christ. You never know what you will do 40 years from now.

(4) Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the Grace (wellfavoured) harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.

Typical Church of Christ out-of-context scripture usage. I know, since I attend one. No Christians cannot fall from grace. Look at verses 1-3, Paul is talking about people who are trying to be saved through the law of Moses by being circumcised. A Christian is, by definition, someone who is saved by grace and not by the law. So obviously this is not Christians he is talking about, but the Jews who are fallen from grace.

1. Paul was writing to Christians not Jews.

2. How can you fall from it if you never had it in the first place? I would think you would have to have it to fall from it ?:sarcastic

Interesting, is it not, how that little bit was never addressed in the other thread...?

Galations 5: 13
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty (salvation); only use not liberty (Christ's sacrifice) for an occasion to (sin) the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Words in parenthesis added by FFH.

We should not use Christ's atoning sacrifice as a license to sin...My wife used to say this...

if we do we'll be "buffeted" by Satan...

Galatians 5
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

We are all living under God's grace, no matter what religion we adhere to, simply because God lends us our very breath or the very air we breathe...

We are truly on borrowed time...

It's all about the blood
Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised (Jewish), Christ shall profit you nothing. Just because your Jewish, doesn't mean you automatically have Christ
For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law (break one you might as well have broken em all). Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.(un-saved) For we (saved christians) through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.(Not the Law) For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision(being Jewish) availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision(being Gentile); but faith which worketh by love. Gal 5:2-6

Paul simply says if we are trying to earn salvation we are in error, for salvation is a gift of grace and a gift cannot be earned just accepted. We are saved freely by grace through faith in Christ UNTO good works, not by good works. So we do not lay a heavy burden on our brothers, its not about 'laws' of do's and don't's, it is about a person, Jesus Christ who loved us so we may have eternal life and be able to love God and others in return.
