I'm not sure i do. I mean the bible was written by man and therfor cannot be infalible. Its not like a god sends down new copies now and again.

As Latter-day Saints believe:

"We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God." (Article of Faith #8)

I, personally, don't think I do either.

But, I do think the Bible has a lot of great ideas, stories, and poetry. It is certainly an important piece of literature, and has many wonderful theological ideas that one can derive some spiritual meaning from.

I don't.

But like Guitar's Cry, it's filled with a lot of very spiritual things, but not for me.

The Bible is inert It can do nothing of itself.
It is not the focus of Christianity.
Christ is.

You can safely put your trust in Jesus.

I have heard so many people quote the bible as fact when I truelly belive it is a collections some based on truth or myth and some made up. I am just curious to know if there are others out there who agree with me. If you don't then i would love to hear why.

Some of the Biblical writings are factual, some are not. The Bible's veracity lies not in its factual content, but in its ability to reveal God to us.

shouldnt god be revealed to us from within ourselves.he is our created, wouldnt make sense that god is innate.

God does do that. But God also reveals God's self through the community of the faithful. The Bible is the story of the community of the faithful.

There are some Christians that believe the Bible is inerrant and there are others who believe it has flaws in it. I have a comment for each group.

If you believe the Bible is perfect, then I would be interested to know if you've read the whole thing cover to cover. If God really did go through the trouble of revealing Himself through a book, you should probably read the entire thing. It's important.

If you believe the Bible is imperfect, then how can you trust anything in it that is said about Jesus Christ to be correct?
