For the record: big cities are former country villages.
It's a matter of time.

For the record, not all big cities remain big cities; sometimes they naturally get smaller

It's a management problem. Lots of space on earth yet.

There's plenty of space to build & farm.
But the natural environment is taking a big hit,
eg, seas denuded of fish, massive extinctions,
less wildlife. Having more people has high
costs (including food & housing). What's
the benefit of plowing & paving the planet
for more humans?
