And who are you to judge who is a "true Christian"?
The Bible gives the path. Jesus said he is the way, the truth and the life. Thank you for expressing your thoughts and feelings. John 9 gives the account of the blind man healed by Jesus. The healed man was then assaulted by the religious leaders.

How is it that you come up with straw man claims and questions about things I have never said and you do that so easily? Perhaps it isn't my faith and behavior you should be investing your time in, but maybe your own.
Why avoid. Just wondering based on your replies.

I know now how that man must have felt.

I'm not avoiding anything. Why do you continuously avoid questions that others ask you and ignore evidence about scientific conclusions when it is provided and explained?

Why do you try to turn a conversation about a specific subject into what I can't see as anything other than a personal attack over claims unrelated to the topic or questions about the topic. Keep in mind, I have had some experience where this very thing has happened before. I ask questions, but rather than answer the questions, it was demanded that I bear by personal beliefs for all. A demand entirely irrelevant to the discussion then as now.

Seems to be a pattern you can't get out of.

Do you think that a person should address accusations that are not based on any fact as if they were? Ridiculous. Why would you need to use straw men, if you are in the right?

Did Jesus tell you to go on internet forums and judge people?
I'm asking questions. As I said, I attended church and would see Jesus hanging on a cross. I wondered why. Why was such a seemingly nice person put to death like that? What did he do to deserve that? It wasn't until later that I learned. I love the song "Amazing Grace." I can now understand more about the Bible and why Jesus prayed like he did. Thank you.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Well then, why not answer?
I believe now what Jesus said in the gospel of John chapter 6: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." I didn't mean to offend you and so I apologize. I would say perhaps it's better for me to avoid addressing you in the future since you seem so offended.

I'm not. The evidence shows that it is you that avoids questions. The statements you made were not based on the evidence of anything I have ever said here.
I'm asking questions.
Irrelevant questions about things that are not facts? As a Christian, why do you feel you need to do that. It goes against many parts of the Bible. I suppose you must pick and choose the parts you follow. So you consider some of it as allegory or just wrong then. I believe doing that would be hypocrisy in my opinion. But I suppose others have a different view.

I've read your story and seen your actions and I cannot reconcile them. I suppose I'm not surprised, but I'm still disappointed at behavior I don't see as Christian.

None of the gospels are eyewitness accounts. John was the last Gospel written perhaps seventy years after the crucifixion, it does not agree all that much with the others, it should be the least trusted of them. Not the most.

I have answered them. I said you made statements about things I have never said. What is so difficult for you to understand there? Why do you keep pressing me to address accusations not based on any valid evidence? Is it to give them a patina of validity that you cannot provide with any actual evidence.

You may believe it, but I'm not seeing any evidence it means much to you.

This seems like a game to you now. Just reverting to what I believe is behavior that wouldn't be tolerated in a child.

Why don't you answer questions? Hmmm? You make a lot of claims, but seem to avoid answering questions like they were the plague.

Why the avoidance?

Do you believe that in order for a person to be a "true" Christian, they have to follow your faith groups practices?

Do you believe you understand science so well that you can reject it based on a logical, well-reasoned argument given that you believe you should, claiming the high ground of what you believe is superior faith?

Is it pride to consider your personal beliefs make yours superior to others? Is that a position that you would advise others to follow?

Do you reject science on the merits of the arguments and evidence or merely because the faith group you choose to follow demands you reject it? Can you provide a convincing argument in support of the former portion of the above question.

Do you think if you are calling someone out for your claim they are avoiding questions and you don't answer questions put to you, that you are fully justified in that position and consider it righteous?
