Why should a journalist fear for his life in a free country?
Unfortunately, it happens. The building for the newspaper here has reinforced windows because back in the 60s and 70s the Klan hated them, enough to even shoot at the building.

Is it freedom of expression if i insult your mother? Draw her in very shameful way?
If your answer is NO.
Then u should know i love the prophet PBUH more than my own parents.

It's freedom of expression to allow somebody to say such things. I wouldn't get violent about it.

The thing is, I'm mature enough to not go bat **** crazy and hurt and kill over things like tha. People say nasty things. That's why we call them "people." I'm sure you love your prophet. However, I should not be bound to the laws of your religion. The Quran is not a book that is free of criticism, and Muhammad himself is not free from criticism either. I know Islam does not turn people violent, but if I want to draw Muhammad, or Christ, or Krishna, or Gautama, or Cthulhu, I should be free to do so, with full freedom to depict him anyway I want. If it offends you, oh well. Religious laws should only apply to those who believe in that religion. If someone breaks them or offends your religion, no one is holding a gun to your head and telling you to indulge.

The laws of the kuffar lands dictate that you can insult someone's mom, someone's prophet.
The killers should have used other methods like sueing them or patience.

As muslims we should abide by the laws of the kuffar.

You can't sue for defamation over a Prophet! No one would take you seriously. People offended by Western Satire need to avoid western countries and media :)

I think that if your mother was a political/religious/public figure, this would be completely reasonable to expect. When you put yourself in the lime-light, you should expect to be made-fun of by those that disagree with you. Now, I am not saying that it would be warranted, but it certainly shouldn't be unacceptable. And, even if my Mom wasn't a public figure and someone drew cartoons of her like this, distorting her features in a satirical way and such, I still wouldn't see any kind of violence or destruction as justified. That would be insane.

Because there are some muslims who are isis and alqeada, they believe these hatecartoonists should be killed everywhere.
So, why not focus on ridiculing them? Violence is the problem, not cartoons. And, basic reason will tell anyone that more violent outbreaks over satirical cartoons will bring out more satirical cartoons.

Or how about they respect the rights of others? So long as someone isn't explicitly calling for violence and discrimination against someone, there should be no restrictions. The slopes are just too slippery.

I'll say this again; if he's doing this because of pressure or because of fear he's a coward.

Too bad their aren't more that stand up against those deranged hatemongers. Tray Parker and Matt Stone have had death threats, and they still went ahead with their plans.

I remember the outrage about South Park and never understood it. Mohammed was cool he had the power of fire.

All we got were Macaroni sculptures for Moshe who looked like MCP from Tron. :(

Meanwhile Mohammed travelled the world and fought crime with the Super Best Friends!
I never thought about it that way, but you are 100% right on! Did Muhammad just have the worst sense of humor of all time? Did he just demand to not even be involved in any jokes?

I'm not sure, but this outrage over depicting Muhammad is a fairly recent development. Not only has Islam historically not had such restrictions, South Park aired Super Best Friends just a few months before 9/11 and nobody cared.
