Choosing to be offended over something so petty or trivial isn't "hurt".

Let the *****-tears flow.
Or better yet....
Let people realize that insults matter not.
They're just something that someone says.
If Allah dislikes this, he'll deal with it in the afterlife.
His possible vengeance is not for them to assume.

Wow, I'm really sorry for having offended you this seriously!
I 'm sorry I made a mistake. I didn't know this lesson is such a big deal for you.
No problem. Just learn from your mistake. Don't pretend you have no idea what the topic is just to try and do what you think is "forcing someone's hand." The information was readily available, and the thread was only 2 pages long by that time. You were obviously trying to enact some kind of undermining of the point made, or trying to trap someone into offending you or something. I honestly have no idea... I only know I smelled shenanigans in the works. As a matter of fact, the scent still lingers.

Islam say portrait of the prophet is not right to do, what is weak about following the teaching?
That teaching is for Muslims. Not for non-Muslims. You don't force that view on others. You don't kill others who have no obligation to follow the rules imposed upon Muslims.

Imagine what would happened to most of our posts here on RF, if the Muslim religion called all the shots on what is allowed or not? Imagine if the moderators sent assassins after the posters for blasphemy? There would be no diversity. There would be no differences of opinion. It would all be moderated, with lethal force at times, by those who expected everyone to follow the teachings of Islam.

It is freedom of speech, but when it is done to hurt others, then it is not ok

I don't know that it was originally drawn to hurt others but the bomb was definitely to hurt others.
To republish may be to show that the intimidation did not work, but to republish seems also to show a lack of care for the employees at Hedbo.
I guess that's the French for you, Liberty or die,,,,,,,,,,,or in this case Liberty and die.

I'll wager that they take precautions against violent backlash.

"I won't draw pictures of Muhammad myself" - perfectly acceptable.

"I'll murder anyone who draws a picture of Muhammad" - unacceptable.

Why?

The people the cartoons are directed at have a history of violence, prudishness, and misogyny. All of these have hurt other people.

Maybe Muhammad is not upset, but why create hate when Charlie be do know what will happen?

Is that a threat? It sure sounds like a threat.

No I say respect others the way you want to be respected your self

I have no problem with people attacking my atheism. People do it all the time. I can defend my beliefs without resorting to putting a bomb in their house.

Your Mohammed tried to stifle any competition by making it an evil to attack him. That was pretty smart of him. Fortunately, most people don't give a d**n what some old man allegedly wrote hundreds of years ago.

Trump hasn't gone that far yet

What is weak about ignoring it?
I have never said you or other have to follow Islamic teaching, but I do not understand why people can not respect that Muslims should not create picture of Muhammad, you do not need to follow a teaching to show respect to what it say.
