There is a difference between a topic for serious debate and a rhetorical temper tantrum. The latter most resembles an awkward cross between singing off key to the choir and trolling for wingnuts.FP to the crowd that thinks this is acceptable. Not me.

There's a difference between what is ideal and what happens in a messy world. Biologically a girl can give birth at 12. Mentally, many 18 year olds probably aren't mature enough to be parents. But that's not to say we should punish the child for the parents mistakes.I don't disagree completely, as my mom conceived me at 16/17, and I was born when she was 17.
But. I also know that my life would have been much better and healthier to, if I were born later. Compared to the two children she had 12 years after the fact .
Edit: late teen years is safe-ish, for pregnancy and delivery. But under 12 like some of the 10 years olds being mentioned recently, are screwed; both child and parent will end up with many many problems.
kids adopted at birth vs kids adopted after years of abuse or neglect are very different categories.
Studies show that even those adopted at birth have issues. The knowledge of being adopted is not easy to live with either.
It can be hard, but on average they out perform the biol only families. (Largely due to selection factors)
