well yes

the whole burying pots of sexual fluids by spare made me cringe though...

I think the best thing about chaos magic of course was the idea of getting rid of the 19th century clap trap...because frankly so much of magic is "standardised"

so that people are literally doing exactly the same thing as was done over a century ago...

(here's the 'contraversial bit') things like the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram etc. have all been improved upon by various circles....for (shockingly to many)at least 40 years or so now (ie the 70's)....as such its retaining old patterns that are "stagnant" or at least can be "done better"

although there are many versions of the Kabbalistic cross...which is again a standard "form" so to speak, within Occultism...although once again, many just do the "standard" kabbalistic cross

a good example is ritual sacrifice....
sacrifice can be seen (one opinion anyway) as a transference of energy
as such, animal sacrifice is like pouring gasoline on a bonfire to light a match
Its the 21st century.....things have changed.....

once we wiped ourselves with our hand(although they still do in india)
now we have paper or water.............
