Christians and Jews Who Sanction Homosexual Sex

You just can't help yourself can you? Well flounder on, I guess.
I have never floundered, at least not when I have debated you. If you were honest enough to own up to your errors perhaps you would not find me so objectionable. You are trying to defend an immoral belief and failing.

I happen to be free for the next hour or so, so I will give you one chance. Pick any thread other than this one and type a post challenging me and I will respond to it. I have had far more than enough of this thread and am done with it. Keep it up in this thread and I am going right back to radio silence.

That would be rather hard to do since I am not sure where you and I agree and disagree. Tell me do you believe in the myths of Genesis? And you do realize that I reply to others on this thread. I was here before you were and just because you hate losing a debate seems like a poor reason for me to run away.

Knowing how much god hates homosexual sex, and that it's almost a given that every homosexual couple engage in it, :):) how can any Christian denomination or Jewish movement sanction same-sex marriages, in effect sanctioning homosexual sex?

Those religious Abrahamic religious organizations that sanction same-sex marriage.

Alliance of baptists
Conservative Judaism
Episcopal Church
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
Presbyterian Church (USA)
Reform Judaism
United Church of Christ (Congregational Church)
And perhaps the United Methodist Church (We'll know in February, 2019)

.

I don't believe that they can.

God cannot "hate" homosexual sex since homosexuals are a product of human nature...which undergoes the processes of evolution, that God can't control in any way.

Unfortunately it's the Creationist idiocy that contributes to the image of a homophobic God that created a perfect nature or a perfect sexuality.

What does that have to do with it?

And after saying

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. (Leviticus 18:22)

If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. (Leviticus 20:13)

you say he doesn't hate it? Just what does god have to do to convince you he hates something?

Personally, I believe that the only alternative to heterosexual intercourse is celibacy full stop.
Of course, the question I have is "Why?"
I understand that you aren't interested, even rather squicked out. I understand that morally primitive people, living precariously, wanted to maximize followers/subjects.

But in a world with 7 billion people, what's wrong with me being married to another guy? How is our getting a little nooky a bad thing?

It limits your eternal potential as a child of God.

You literally are "damming" your progression.

Just as a dam stops the flow of a river.

You are without mercy toward the fallen. What a sad state you find your self in and barely even adult.

I have seen those who you say face condemnation before God who swear that they were born that way. Who are you to condemn anyone, pompous one? I was a member of your church but could not stand the stench of the sanctimonious.

You don't believe that God is a Being of Law?

You believe that mercy can rob justice?

We are all born with the propensity toward one sin or another.

I am not better off because I am heterosexual.

We all have our sins that "dam" us and limit our eternal progression.

However, when we start to justify our sins, claiming that they should be excused because we were "born that way", we do ourselves and others a disservice.

You left a church that you seem to know nothing about.

I would argue that any sexual congress outside of a heterosexual married couple is "morally primitive".
