Christians can't be Anti-Semitic

CHRISTIAN
It is very simple to define Christianity, au contraire. Because if you want to become Christian, it's sufficient you ask to be baptized by a priest, and you will be baptized in no time.
Sir, you don’t become a Christian because you wanted to become a Christian or because a priest baptized you.

Ro 9:16 It does not, therefore, depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.

By God’s mercy only and nothing else.

You're not Jewish. You have no connection to Judaism. Christianity is a different religion, it has nothing to do with Judaism.

Ruth converted to Judaism. You didn't. That's the difference.
This is what I’ve been saying all along. The Law of Moses is not for Gentiles to begin with. God designed the Law of Moses for the Israelites only and during that time frame only. What is so hard to understand here?

That's not really how I view it. I think you're getting a bunch of things mixed up here. Just because Judaism isn't Christianity doesn't mean it isn't a continuation Covenant.

Old Covenant and New Covenant?

Heb 8:13 By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.

Ruth, a Gentile Moabitess, husband to Boaz, an Israelite from the line of Judah. It shows how a Gentile woman became part of the Davidic ancestry and the Lord Jesus –Matthew 1:5. As a Gentile, I did not have to convert to Judaism to be related to Shem genetically, which is impossible, but spiritually through the Lord Jesus Christ without the Law of Moses.
As a gentile, there's no need for you to follow Jewish Law.

But a major problem is that Torah and Tanakh has God saying that the Covenant is "perpetual", "everlasting", and "forever". Some churches have recognized that if one takes it that the "new covenant" replaces the "old covenant", then that would make God a liar, so they recognize that both are valid.

People earn their salvation by their own merits. Whether they are Christians or not.
so even Jews earn their salvation by their own merits. Of course...according my religion.

When my sister had a "new" child I hope it didn't make his older brother "obsolete". It would break his heart.

Yes, I do believe in that.

Dt 29:29 The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us/Israelites and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

Moses made it clear here that he was talking about the people or the Israelites and NOT the Gentiles about the “secret things” of God that was “revealed” to them at that time.

A table has 4 legs the same as a cat or a dog but that is as far as you can analogize it, because you cannot place a cup of coffee on top of a cat or a dog like you would on a table.

If we can earn our own salvation then we don’t need a Savior, or Christ died in vain.

of course it was obsolete. Jesus said that loving God is not sufficient; he said that we also must love our neighbor as much as we love ourselves (even more...from that on)...
a second covenant was necessary

Perhaps it is just me, but I have no idea what this has to do with anything else in the thread.

Can you please explain it for me?

This seems to be saying then that jews can't become Xians, because they're under a different Covenant?
Not buying it. I don't think there are 'two' covenants and everyone else is supposed to adhere to 'one' of them or something, nah.

And yet, 2000 years later . . .
