Citing staffing issues and political climate, North Idaho hospital will no longer deliver babies.

I account for it as the opinion of someone making rationalizations and justifications. Dr. Huntsberger wasn't getting the $$$ she wanted. So she took a cheap shot at the anti-abortion crowd on her way out. If there was a market for her services she wouldn't be leaving. And the reason there isn't a market is (again) due to demographics, not anti-abortion laws. It has less to do with truth and more to do with greedy self interest. But she's a baby killer and doesn't want to lose the $$$. I would expect it.
She's certainly not doing it for free.

With all the publicity she's getting, I'm sure the doctor appreciated the attention and will have a steady flow of income from it all at her new location.

To be fair. If my state banned abortion, I don’t think I’d be in a hurry to get pregnant.
Too many things can go wrong and if the doctors can’t help you due to the law
Well, it’s time to pack your bags
That's the beauty of states rights. There are places one can go to if unsatisfied.

Well, if you have the money and means, I suppose
I mean have you seen the petrol-oh I mean gas prices lately? Sheesh!!

Also I thought with the overturning of R v W that meant abortion was criminalised across the board?
Forgive me, I’m not sure how this works in your country

It's considered a matter for the state governments to decide. However, with the GOP in control of the House, they could try to pass a bill outlawing abortion nationwide. I don't think it would get past the Senate, and it would probably be vetoed anyway.

Yes, the statement from the hospital says that as well, just as they state the ID's anti-abortion laws are also a factor. You do realize that multiple factors can play into a decision, yes?

But you didn't really answer my question. Do you think the people at the hospital are lying when they said ID's anti-abortion laws were a factor in their decision? If so, do you have evidence to support that accusation, or are you just expecting folks here to take your word for it?
The media wants to increase its audience. Hence the faux controversy. They can't sell stories about declining population as the cause. "Lying" isn't the only possibility. They could be quite sincerely mistaken. Hanlon's razor applies, “Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence.”

Huh? Are you not even aware that the media is merely reporting on a news release that the hospital put out themselves?

So again, do you think the people at the hospital are lying? If so, do you have any actual evidence for that accusation?

The media is doing more than just that. I have already answered your question about lying.

Because the number of births is down in Sandpoint. It says so right in the article. The census bureau reports the child bearing population there is falling and will continue to fall. If there isn't enough work to justify the staff, you cut the staff. It is basic economics.
It also tells you that the country is aging. Old farts with money from sane states are moving up there to join the other crazies. They have money, but are too old to have kids.

So, ignore what is being said by those who are actually leaving and substitute it with words of your own to match and reflect your own beliefs.

While is strips the rights if those who can't.
Again, you clearly just don't give a damn about liberty and freedom if you think "states rights" in anyway ameliorates the situation.
No I side with the states with most personal and economic freedom in this country. Not the Democrat run Socialist/Marxist states with the least personal and economic freedom in the entire country.

You can continue to happily live in your People's Republic utopia as long as you like and support their Socialist/Marxist inspired agenda.

Why is your level of outrage based far more on the political affiliation of the offender than the actual severity of the offense? How is a ban on objects that are detrimental to the ecosystem worse than a ban on reproductive choice and bodily autonomy?
Because the mechanisms are the same. It's not the Republicans who first started the nanny state trend.
