COL 2:16 And The Sabbath - Are You Being Told The Truth?

This is something we agree on. Now if sin is defined in the scriptures as breaking any one of God's 10 commandments *JAMES 2:10-11; 1 JOHN 3:4; ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7, can you love God by breaking his 4th commandment? :)
Sure. Your scriptural references are all out of context and some of them don't even refer to breaking the 10 commandments. The Judaic Law is for Jews. I'm not a Jew.

SHAMANISM linked is the occult. How can you be a member of the Clergy and practice this? o_O
The web site talks about core shamanism and some other more esoteric, "new age" types. That's not what I practice. At all. You do realize that the term "shamanism" is an umbrella term that's very roughly applied to any of a great number of widely diverse practices? Once again, you don't know what you're talking about, and an internet search isn't likely to give you the answers you need. Jesus was, himself, a shaman, IMO.

ONCE AGAIN for those with apparently poor reading skills: That's not the type of shamanism I practice. The web site doesn't describe what I practice.

Get It???

Here you go with this annoying cut-and-paste response crap when you get something you just can't deal with.

I am sorry I cannot see any out of context scriptures that I have provided from the scriptures. The scriptures provided are topical scriptures to the definition of sin. Can you show that these scriptures do not define sin as breaking God's Law? If you cannot why are you hand waiving them and pretending they mean something they do not?

Now if sin is defined in the scriptures as breaking any one of God's 10 commandments *JAMES 2:10-11; 1 JOHN 3:4; ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7, can you love God by breaking his 4th commandment?

All you have managed to do here is avoid answering the questions asked of you. You do not have to answer the question if you do not want to I am sure you already know the answers if your being honest with yourself :)

You still haven't answered the question. SHAMANISM linked is the occult. How can you be a member of the Clergy and practice this?

If you are not going to believe in Jesus and his rather clearly stated Two Commandments, why should I expect you to pay attention to me? Again, those teachings beyond the Two are applications and/or explanations of those Two.

You cannot believe in Jesus if you don't actually believe in what he rather clearly had stated in the Sermon On the Mount, which is also repeated throughout the Gospel. It's the "love one another as I have loved you"-message that you just can't seem to wrap your head around.
You have not addressed the fact that Jesus mentioned more than two commandments. You can't get your head away from the two. And one of the two is to love God. I do not see how you can love God and disrespect the special day He blessed and made holy. So maybe that is something for you to wrao your head around instead of sticking it in the sand and refusing to consider anything other than what some church has told you.

You may have some trouble getting @sojourner to agree with you. He is a member of the Clergy that also practices Shamanism (occult). My experience is that he is not here for an open and honest discussion. He believes that the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God that JESUS warns us about in MATTHEW 15:2-9 supersedes the Word of God. o_O

LOLOL.. What sort of school of theology did YOU attend?
