I think that these atheists who act this way LOVE to be disrespectful. They have no respect.

Perhaps theists should have set the standards a bit higher...I think that these atheists who act this way LOVE to be disrespectful. They have no respect.
I don't know. I wouldn't suggest it does make it more difficult.Willamena, how does the lack of a photo ID make identity theft more difficult? Sure, it is fairly easy to forge an ID. But it may be checked against official databases, which is something. Certainly better than having to trust one's word of mouth.
How about making all atheists wear a colander? It would be useful to have at least some of the smug and arrogant identified.
Once all theists are forced to wear niqabs, I'll wear a colander.

I don't think they would accept your suggestion.
Most of them don't like to be identified as such.

Yeah, it's funny. The problem is he is wearing the headgear on questionable principle. He's wearing it because religious people are getting something that he isn't.I still think wearing a colander looks ridiculous, but if they think it's a good protest (I think it might be, look at all the attention they're getting ) then more power to them.
Heck, I will wear two. Somehow.
There has been a growing trend among certain atheists to fight for the right to wear colanders on their heads when having their photo taken for government issued IDs. It is meant to be a political statement against the allowance of religious head gear. What are everyone's thoughts on this? Is it a legitimate statement? Should religious believers not be allowed to have any religious headgear, what so ever, in government issued IDs? Or is it a childish act that does more to harm the already very poor view that people have of atheists?

The only thing more unproductive is to get upset at colander wearing....unless one is a milliner.I find all these types of silly reactions to religion to be rather childish and unproductive. I expect better of rationalists and atheists, which is usually the case. Of course, I understand there will always be a small contigent of atheists who are anti-religon, either because of age/immaturity, or some type of deep damage caused by religion growing up - and that these people will always act out in a reactionary way.
I guess you will not wear even one.
