i'll answer your first and second question; if khalistan were to become a separate state, there would not have been a genocide in 1984,sikhism would not be 'dwindling' and the 'evil' hindus would not create a 'false' religion mixing sikhism and hinduism
this website was something i found offensive as a hindu, particularly the bottom of the page where they misinterpret hinduism
rss against sikhism
at the same time, i have had more problems with hindus & jains from india than with sikhs so i do not know what to think and whom to support.
All i can say is this; if sikhs do not like 'hindusation' of sikhism, then they can either vote in the bjp or leave india. India is, and always will be, a hindu country. Although bjp won't stop this hindusation, they are the only likely alternative to congress and they get along better with the akali dal (and they opposed blue star). With regards to leaving india, they could set up an independent khalistan but if that were true then sikhs shouldn't go around saying they are indian and they should all go and say they're khalistani if they feel so strongly (while i haven't discussed politics with the sikhs i've personally met, they say they're indian but still go to 1984 protests in the uk). Every palestinian i've met has said he/she is palestinian, not israeli because they do not like being under the control of another religion; yet sikhs who slander hinduism and the hindusation of sikhism still say they are indian.
I've said this many-a-times, i am an open minded hindu who admires the sikh gurus as individuals and would have no qualms having sikh gurus in my mandir (i already have a chinese buddha). I get along with the sikhs much better than with other indians. I'm not happy with being indian at all when i've finally finished my university studies and the indians on my course didn't interact with me socially/let me down on numerous occasions; that and in 2006-2009 the indians i worked with didn't see me as one of them yet i've been discriminated against by some british people/ felt left out by them too (even though i'm british). So i'm stuck without an identity here
