Instead of blaming "America," perhaps you should look at your party. I can't recall the last time an incumbent president was defeated after their first term and returned in the next election to defeat the same players that defeated him in the previous election to serve a second term. I think that says something about the current state of your political party.
I’m sorry. But how much worse does a candidate have to be as a convicted felon, chronic liar, and fraud as a business policy to be rejected as acceptable?

This has nothing to do with democrats or Harris. There’s a serious problem with how conservatives think and make important decisions.

And four years ago you were singing a different tune praising Americans lol

The left screwed the pooch on their own, deal with it and learn from it.

It was a nail biting and historic election.

Hoping to see life get better in the next four years. Heartfelt thank you to all fellow Republicans and true Blue Dog Democrats.

All Americans at the end of the day. Let's pursue our common goals as a nation.
Hey if one of our common goals is to make the congress critters balance the budget, I'm in. (It's a start.)

They showed sound judgment. Something changed, and it wasn’t that voters are wiser and better informed today.

The left screwed the pooch on their own, deal with it and learn from it.
No, democrats offered a stable and experienced candidate and for some reason voters preferred an unstable criminal.

Dems these days are terrible at healthy self-reflection. Instead of considering why their candidates have failed and what they did wrong, they pretend their candidate was wonderful and heap vitriol on the American people. They are currently playing the blame game and blaming every group under the sun except for Harris, her campaign and the DNC. It seems like they live in ivory towers where they look down in disgust at the "rabble". This is a common thing among liberals nowadays. You see it with the foreign liberals on here, too. They just hate Americans at the end of the day and are full of self-righteous arrogance. That doesn't endear you to voters and win elections. They will continue losing until that fact sinks in, if it ever does.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Yeah telling someone so what!, to put you on ignore if they are bothered and then going all CAPS really relays humor.
Like I said, humor online can be hard to deciper, and anyway, Subduction Zone does not have me on ignore.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
I can't believe we elected someone who openly says he wants to be a dictator.

America is dead. The only question is where to move to. But no place will be safe now.
Ah the first post on somebody who wants to leave the country. I'm surprised there's not a thread about it yet.

You are part of the problem, not seeing Trump for what he is. A long time ago Baha'u'llah predicted:

"The promised day is come, the day when tormenting trials will have surged above your heads, and beneath your feet, saying: 'Taste ye what your hands have wrought!'"
(Shoghi Effendi, The Promised Day is Come, p. 3)

Shoghi Effendi is quoting Baha'u'llah here. Our whole system in America failed us, and the America people failed us. We are bringing hell on America and also the rest of the world.
Can you please explain why you think that the American people failed us?
Can you explain why we are bringing hell on America and also the rest of the world?

By the way, the American people ARE us, and they have spoken. Sorry that you don't like what they said, but such is the nature of a democracy.
Americans lost faith with the justice system and the news media, which are long term problems besides Trump getting elected.
Can you explain why you think it is a disaster for America and the world? Mind you, I stopped watching all news when Lewis passed on, so I have not been following the Biden presidency or the Harris campaign, but I now have my eyes glued on CNN.

Are you going merely on his personality problems or on the issues? Do you know what is in his heart? I don't think anyone except God can know that. Regarding his personality problems, he is not going to be running the country by himself.

According to CNN it was the working class who have been hurting economically and who had no plan to fix the economy. The commentators say that the democrats are the party of the elite college-educated people, so it sounds to me that Trump is more aligned with the principles of the Baha'i Faith that everyone should be considered equal in the eyes of God, not just the elite.
Also Americans don't think for themselves, they let Trump and those who enable him think for them.
Regarding thinking for themselves, I am starting to realize why we disagree about Abdu'l-Baha.
Baha'is don't think for themselves, they they unquestioningly adhere to dogma. I cannot do that so I am a pariah.

So, you think aggressive tariffs will reduce/improve the cost of living for the average working folk?
Maybe not at the start, but I like to think of it as an enticement for businesses to stay stateside and maybe even entice businesses to come back from overseas , so I see a long-term solution to it rather than a short term.

He literally said that he will be a dictator on day one.
Please quote him saying that.

BTW, regarding politics, I am as neutral as one can get since I don't follow politics.
I have not even watched any news since my husband passed on 2.5 years ago.

Yes, the DNC failed in that they did not even try to connect with the average, blue-collar working folks (like here in PA), who are trying to simply pay their bills. Out of touch.
