Has life really been that bad for you these last 4 years?
They've been better for me than when Trump reigned.
Better economy for one.
I think one of the big issues is rising prices, rent, goods etc. after COVID. And as expected you blame the sitting government. But a lot of this is not solely their fault, Trump could have done something about it as well, yet didn't. Yet he takes the upper hand in this as the "saviour/solution", but the problem is that US is controlled by corporations and no one will go after them regardless of who is sitting on the throne.
You can see a sharp increase in prices as a result of Covid (or at least using that as an excuse), but the prices have never really returned. So for instance eggs have risen in price by 79% from 2020 to 2024, but that doesn't make sense, there is no Covid anymore and it has happened to a lot of US products and services, which is why a lot of people now struggle, but neither Trump or Biden apparently have done anything against these companies for doing so. And obviously, if you are rich this is no issue, but if you are poor and everything increases in cost you will feel it.
So to me, the issue that the Americans are facing seems to be much more severe than just who is sitting in office, their system is not very good at handling these things because of the extreme inequality in the US.
