Should there be another referendum and the decision is reversed i can believe it could bring violence from disgruntled leave voters. But which is the lesser of the two evils?

Trump was elected because he won in more states, a completely different scenario than in the uk. If the uk ran that system the referendum would have been a draw and would have to have been re-run.
