Hello. I just checked to see if I am registered to vote and I am. I voted Libertarian in the 2016 US presidential election so I registered that year.
I haven’t voted since then since I view voting as an act of aggression (this is not the thread to debate this point). But I am no pacifist.
@Quintessence brought up the issue of abortion being perhaps their most important issue this election in another thread/conversation with me. It got me thinking about actually voting.
I see voting as an act of aggression like I said but I do believe in using aggression to defend yourself.
So I wanted to start this conversation with asking which issues are the
most important to you when it comes to a candidate’s policies? Abortion rights seems to be a pressing issue in many people’s minds. What other important issues are there that perhaps take precedent over other ones?
I live in Arizona so my vote is
super important. I say that with sarcastic italics but they say the swing states are what decide the election. AZ went Trump the first time then not Trump the second time.
Care to make one final pitch for your preferred presidential candidate? I swear I am not trolling or anything, I am serious about being willing to vote.
My thoughts so far are this:
Trump: says he’s anti deep state - got shot in sketch circumstances so that sorta gives his claim some juice in my eye.
Harris: nice to immigrants
Please help me out here I live under a rock I was not planning on voting so I haven’t really been looking into their policies or whatever.
I am unsure how I feel about abortion. I’ve created several threads on the topic now and they have been lengthy and my views have fluctuated and are still under consideration.
