Corporal punishment in schools should be abolished

well...people are against terrorism...but they don't seem to condemn some teacher and headmasters who use terror to control kids' minds.
This kind of mind-control is called psychological violence. Children will grow up with traumas and insecurities

example of school terrorism

Movies are inadequate evidence to support a controversial claim that
people who oppose terrorism are OK with schools employing "terror".

People may be shocked. Schools aren't here to raise our kids and parents primary job is to provide for their children. A kids peer group does much of the raising and sculpting of a kid.

That's the Van Halen method of child rearing. Not sure it's a positive. Tends to breed mullets and beer bellies.

That child abuse sometimes happens does not prove your
claim about indifference by those who oppose terrorism.

It was just an example. Given that all Americans oppose terrorism (or at least, I hope), it is contradictory to see that some of them approve of it in schools

well...don't complain if American men prefer Italian women, then.
George Clooney, for example
George Clooney is from Kentucky. He can have any woman he wants. Just needs a shotgun, some rope and a pick-up truck.

You're mistaken in believing that we all approve of it.
But then, what could I expect from someone living in
a country where everyone is a Mafia enforcer.

Caution: Above post contains sarchasm.
And yes, "sarchasm" is the correct spelling.

Betta watch out. Hay might be connected, and some might find themselves disconnected.

I thought that it was implicit that I meant some of you:facepalm:
I guess that words in English have to be said explicitly

Advice:
Tis wise to review one's language before posting to ensure not too broad a brush is used.
Also, "some" is a useful word to avoid including everyone, but it risks being weaselly
when used against unnamed people who might or might not exist in significant numbers.

maybe in your country. Not in mine, where teachers use the Montessori method.
and we get wonderful results
"Journalists who regard the Mafia as "Sicily's dirty secret" are mistaken --though poverty and poor education create a favorable climate for crime. The real secret, which Sicilians themselves are inclined to minimise or conceal, is the terribly low educational level of so much of the island's population. It's one thing to overlook the illiteracy of the generation born in the era of The Duce, but the failure to educate younger people is terrible by any measure. What's worse, hardly anybody seems to care. Most better-educated Sicilians simply just accept the existence of the poor, and poorly educated, lower classes as an unpleasant but undisturbing fact of life."

My mother was all for corporal punishment, if she did it herself. But she did not want the schools to do it.
