Creation vs evolution

Precisely. But that is what God says about the future. "From the north I am going to bring against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses and chariots, with horsemen and a great army." It hasn't happened yet so how is his horses and horsemen and chariots going to defeat Tyre in the future?

You do know, that to which is being spoken of in Ezekiel, is in the context of the Spiritual Realm
And not in the context of the physical literal Realm which we live in.

Seeing you can not tell the difference between the two,
Which is Literal Realm
Which is Spiritual Realm.

Therefore not everything is to be taken in the Literal Sense.
Therefore there are things that are in the Spiritual Realm.

Therefore the book of Ezekiel points to the future which is in the Spiritual Realm.and not in the Physical,Literal Realm.

How can you possibly state there are no contradictions? That would require that you have read the original Bible in the original language and understood the exact original meaning of every word...

Just because you say there are contradictions, does not mean there is.

That was in reference to back then

but as for Babylon it's self, There is the literal Babylon and there is the spiritual Babylon.

But seeing that you have no idea between the difference what is Literal and what is Spiritual.
It all adds up. Why you can not see the difference between the two.
What is Literal and what is Spiritual.
"From the north I am going to bring against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses and chariots, with horsemen and a great army." God isn't talking about a spiritual North or a spiritual Tyre or a spiritual Nebuchadnezzar or a spiritual king or a spiritual Babylon or spiritual horses or spiritual chariots or spiritual horsemen or a spritual army here. It's meant literally. Can't you tell the difference?

Yeah sure can tell the difference, it's evident that you sure can not.

No it doesn't. But "How can you possibly state there are no contradictions? That would require that you have read the original Bible in the original language and understood the exact original meaning of every word..."

First of all, what bible are you going by?

Do you always take things in the Bible in the literal sense.
So I suppose, you actually believe that in the book of Revelation 9:17 that these are actually horses with the heads of lions and our of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

No. Only the things that are meant literally. Obviously God wasn't talking about a spiritual North or a spiritual Tyre or a spiritual Nebuchadnezzar or a spiritual king or a spiritual Babylon or spiritual horses or spiritual chariots or spiritual horsemen or a spiritual army.

That was a vision and you can see anything in a vision depending I guess on which drugs you're on. I'm not an expert on that. However, God was talking literally.

7 “For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: From the north I am going to bring against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses and chariots, with horsemen and a great army."

So sometime in the future "the Sovereign Lord" is going to revive the long dead Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and bring him against Tyre with horses and chariots, horsemen and a great army? That's what the Bible says... Bible Gateway passage: Ezekiel 26 - New International Version

No, it describes an event that already happened. Nebuchadnezzar attacked Tyre.

You don't seem to have a very firm grasp on the concept of what a "prophesy" is.

Sorry, since you do not understand that version you really should not use it. You should stick to the English that you understand. It will give you a better chance of understanding the verses being discussed.

Once again if you play that game you make all prophesy worthless.

Faithofchristian said "the book of Ezekiel points to the future"... I thought it was our future?
