Creationist - what is your understanding of TOE?

I like Charlie....
I like Jesus.....

But should I suppose of you...your dislikes?

Heads up!
Intelligent people can believe in evolution and creation and God all at once.

Small minded people don't seem able to.

Not able to go from from one notion to another?

Got stuck and had to make what you thought was a choice?

Gave up on God when some one showed you how chemistry can churn into life?...as if all by itself?

Got stupid and counted God out of the picture....cause you can't see Him?
and now you're waiting for a photograph..or a fingerprint.

There are a lot of things you can't see.
And none so blind as those who will not.

WOW,
thanks for the heads up.

Got stupid and tried to claim that the bible and evolution are compatible.

What they painfully reconstruct from a million dots arranged in an agonizing complexity, He (God as Artist) really produced with a single lightening-quick trun of the wrist...His mind obeying laws of composition which the observers, counting their dots, have not yet come within sight of, and perhaps never will." C'S Lewis

A true intellectual knows that Evolution and scripture are not compatible - ask any died in the wool athiest. In fact the died in the wool athiest often turns to scripture as proof and reason for his atheism. Theistic Evolution is for cake eaters. But remember when the cake has been eaten, there is no cake left!

In addition; the theistic Evolutionist demonstrates complete ignorance of scripture on all levels, both intellectually and spiritually. To call it "Intellectual" is the best science fiction comedy avialable right now.

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. Scherlock holmes.

Given that the theory of Evolution is at best improbable and unproveable it must be eliminated. It sometimes take's generations to catch on to reality. It took many generations for human's to stop killing "witches" for example. These things take time to sink in to un evloved and rebellious humanity. We only learn the hard way. Even then sometimes people refuse to learn

I have to agree... some people refuse to learn.

............ We're just letting anybody in here now.....

Evolution is fact. Any biologist in the field of medicine will tell you that. In order to understand disease you need an understanding of the virus. I use Influenza because it's one of the easiest viruses in our history to understand especially concerning evolution.

Influenza - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Three influenza pandemics occurred in the 20th century and killed tens of millions of people, with each of these pandemics being caused by the appearance of a new strain of the virus in humans. Often, these new strains appear when an existing flu virus spreads to humans from other animal species, or when an existing human strain picks up new genes from a virus that usually infects birds or pigs. An avian strain named H5N1 raised the concern of a new influenza pandemic, after it emerged in Asia in the 1990s, but it has not evolved to a form that spreads easily between people. In April 2009 a novel flu strain evolved that combined genes from human, pig, and bird flu, initially dubbed "swine flu" and also known as influenza A/H1N1, emerged in Mexico, the United States, and several other nations.......

We also know of a bacteria that seems to serve no purpose to humans and seems to diet on a man made product. What we now need to know from creationist is how is that possible? Where would this bacteria come from before the creation of this man made product and if it existed before the man made product what did it survive on? Since the creation of the man made product why is it now feeding on it? The fact that the virus exist and is feeding on the product is exactly what we should expect in regards to evolution.

Nylon-eating bacteria - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In 1975 a team of Japanese scientists discovered a strain of Flavobacterium, living in ponds containing waste water from a nylon factory, that was capable of digesting certain byproducts of nylon 6 manufacture, such as the linear dimer of 6-aminohexanoate, even though those substances are not known to have existed before the invention of nylon in 1935. Further study revealed that the three enzymes the bacteria were using to digest the byproducts were significantly different from any other enzymes produced by other Flavobacterium strains (or any other bacteria for that matter), and not effective on any material other than the manmade nylon byproducts.

This discovery led geneticist Susumu Ohno to speculate that the gene for one of the enzymes, 6-aminohexanoic acid hydrolase, had come about from the combination of a gene duplication event with a frame shift mutation. Ohno suggested that many unique new genes have evolved this way.

A series of recent studies by a team led by Seiji Negoro of the University of Hyogo, Japan, suggest that in fact no frameshift mutation was involved in the evolution of the 6-aminohexanoic acid hydrolase. However, many other genes have been discovered which did evolve by gene duplication followed by a frameshift mutation affecting at least part of the gene. A 2006 study found 470 examples in humans alone.

Scientists have also been able to induce another species of bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, to evolve the capability to break down the same nylon byproducts in a laboratory by forcing them to live in an environment with no other source of nutrients. The P. aeruginosa strain did not seem to use the same enzymes that had been utilized by the original Flavobacterium strain. Other scientists were able to get the ability to generate the enzymes to transfer from the Flavobacterium strain to a strain of E. coli bacteria via a plasmid transfer.

Ive done that already, more than once in this thread, Im not doing it again.
I'm sorry, I missed that post. Which was it?

Im not a creationist, Im a Christian. The Bible is my text for what I believe.

We call that creationist.
"Science" has yet to refute it.
I know, You don't think science works.
Answer my question please? If a black man impregnates a white woman and produces a brown baby.... Is this evolution?
Not really. It's a tiny little piece of the evolutionary process.

If a boxer dog mates with labrador ***** and produces a half boxer half lab. Is this evolution?
Same answer. Not all by itself, no, but it's a tiny part of the evolutionary process.
