I think that sums up the creationist understanding of the theory of evolution quite well.

I'm not a 'creationist'....in the usual sense.
Please note my banner.

And you can throw science at me ....and God ....all you want to.

God is the cause .
I believe it.

So you believe it without evidence to substantiate the assertion or is evidence not required in order for you to believe?

Isn't this how all religious people think, considering there has never been a single shred of evidence of any sort of divine presence? If evidence was required, no one would believe, which makes sense.

The universe...the one word...is the effect.
God spoke....I AM.
The universe is....and God is the cause.

Evolution is how God made Man as a species.
(Chapter Two of Genesis is a story of manipulation....btw.)

god made nothing, he was made up over 3000 years ago by ancient hebrews. The god myth mirrors that of ancient egyption and sumerian pagan gods.

people evolved from the material on the planet like every5thing else without a myths help.

now since you are so bent on shopwing us that god did it, PLEASE provide some kind of evidence that god did do it OR show how nature could not have created man by itself from a primate ancestor.

just when did your magic man step in and say "POOF" there it is" ????????????????

Was watching a documentary...just last night...
And yes...as I wrote it in another thread...

The earth is churning....God set it into motion....
and the constant mixing of chemistry will produce something.

And yes I believe in evolution.

Spirit is quite Something else.

God first.

Can you present any testable evidence that there is a god?

If you can then we'll move on to see if you can present any testable evidence that this particular god is the "cause".

Are you suggesting an experiment to prove God?

Really?

Cause and effect not good enough for you?

Would this be subjective anectodal evidence?
Or objective empirical evidence?
I am willing to bet it is nothing more than the same old same old that has been touted here on RF from get go.

I say this merely because he has already dissed his own evidence and he has yet to present anything.

what cause and effect?

because some 3000 year old jewish goat herders had a dream?

You get hung up and derailed sooooo....easy.

Cause and effect not good enough for you either?

The universe...(one word)....is the effect.

God is the cause.

There is a great deal of evidence that God exists.
If you won't believe it, that's your problem!

True enough. And it is also my problem if believers decide to mistreat me for not believing.

That is why I generally expect them to know better.

Creationist's understanding of Evolution starts and ends at: cats turning into dogs, monkeys giving birth to humans, and pigs evolving from rocks.

Yup that pretty much sums it up.

Great.....finanly some one with the stones to present testable evidence for their god. OK, I'm all ears/eyes.....What do you have?

If you won't believe it, that's your problem!

OK, but you haven't presented it so how can I believe it if no one hasn't presented it as of yet.....?

Now, is this "evidence" going to be objective or subjective?
