Cry of the Sheeple

The results of the 2012 election can be summed up in one sentence which I call the "Cry of the Sheeple":

"I ask not what I can do for my country, I ask what my countries government can do for me?!"

Oh goodness, now we have the Tweet of "the Donald". He and Victoria should get together and not have kids. Just key more evidence why it must be great to be rich, and still prove money can't buy class.
Or normal hair.

Or that business success = intelligence. Or rationality.

Oh hell, is that why you think I voted for Romney? :sarcastic Look people LHPathers can be conservative too. I may be a social liberal, but I am also a fiscal conservative. As a LHPather I am about people doing for themselves and taking responsibility for their own lives rather than looking for a handout from the hard working tax payer, or sitting around on their butts all day living off welfare. As one who is pro-individualism, pro-choice, GLBT rights, pro-legalization of drugs... I had to hold my nose when I voted, however, I truly believe Romney was the better candidate. Furthermore, I did not say that I thought all those who voted democrat were sheeple. :p

Not so wacky once you take into consideration that Ayn Rand was one of LeVay's inspiration. It also just shows the diversity of views in the LHP, as some are more individualistic or collectivist, or a combination of both, some think the government should stay out while some think the government should do what it can to help the citizens that support and fund it.

You have to love a system where 51% vote to be supported by the other 49% ingenious!

Your sentiment is part of what cost Romney/Ryan the election (47% comment....70/30% comment)...

I'm part of that 51% that voted for Obama...and I don't want anything from you or the rest of the 49%. Your gross generalization shows you haven't a clue what people actually want. I work for a public school system so you should know right off the bat I don't make a lot of money but I have done well for myself. I've raised three kids and my two girls have children of their own and all three of my kids have jobs and pay their fair share. Many of us aren't looking for a handout or "stuff" from the federal government.

You're a very right. I am looking for help, for support, handouts, anything I can get to get a highly specialized and very expensive surgery I need so I can make it through my 30's without needing a knee replacement, so I can hopefully live for just one day without being in pain, and to prevent me from needing to go on disabilities in the not-to-distant future because as of today I struggle to stay on my feet for just five hours.

Exactly......

Most other places around the world you'd be having your surgery and up and about after recovery and then back to work. As it stands....

I have health insurance for me and thanks to the ACA my daughter in on my health insurance because she's working a job but can't afford it right now. I also have AFLAC for me and my wife just in case we're hospitalized there would some sort of safety net. Both, the wife and I, carry life insurance as well.....

Him and Mustaine both need to shut up and stick to what made them famous.
I really don't know what the heck happened to Dave Mustaine, he's done a complete 180. I mean this is the same guy who was campaigning for Clinton back in the 90's and whose third and Second to last albums were largely anti-Bush Jr. I'm beginning to think as of late, he's just going to hate whoever is in office. Actually I'd prefer he not purely political themed albums at all.
