I've been to this place recently,this idol is at the end of the long corridor of Sri Ramanatha Swamy temple in Rameshwaram,am I right?

Ha ha, they can make it as large as they can manage, but they cannot make it equal to how large Shiva is.

For sure... he can be found in the grandest and largest temples humans can build, and he can be found in the lowliest mud hut in some rural area. There's nothing that can contain him nor exclude him.

I love Maa active pose in the first murti. Very unusual. I've never seen active poses in temple murtis really. Except may maa Kali. I love how joyful and happy Saraswati Maa looks!
