So there's this society where the boys are raised like Spartan kids, learning violence, initiation,
mock battles etc..These boys become warriors and go off to battle, and like about 30% of all
young hunter gatherer men back then (yes, 25-30% carrying battle trauma in their skeletons)
are killed as the tribe is defended or extended - while the young women remain at home and
raise kids.
Question - who is sexist, the men or the women in this situation?

If the men have told the women to stay home and raise the next generation then...

However. Female skeletons have also been found with battle trauma.

But i am not talking pre history, of which i know plenty and have studded Cro magnon and Neanderthal in the area i live. But am ralking following the rise of civilization and religion

Women in paleolith societies died when their men could not protect them.
In Africa a girl prizes the boy who is strong and brave. In Western society
it's the boy who's rich. Who is using whom here?!
Now imagine the very real situation where strong and brave warrior boys
get the girl, and wimpy pacifist boys don't. In 150,000 years of anatomically
modern humans there have been 7,500 generations. That's a lot of
generations to fashion Homo Sapiens. It's why you see young men fight
and why you see girls going to the toilet together - thousands of these
traits are genetically imprinted in us.

So maybe the young men told for 7,500 generation( OR MORE, GIVEN
WE DESCENT FROM OTHER ARCHAIC HUMANS) that they must go
fight and die... are the ones who have been used.

What a load of ignorant misogynistic garbage.
Have you never seen a girl fight? And yes they have always fought. Often alongside their men, until religion pigion holed wonen as the carw giver, the slave to the mans will

50,000 casualties in one morning on the Somme WW1. I doubt a single woman was
amongst them. The thought of a woman soldier even horified Hitler. Stalin has no such
compunction because all humans were disposable - but he was an exception.
Women died in war, of course. Gassing, bombing, straffing, hunger, disease etc always
took their toll. But from the Cape of Sth Africa, across the Steppes and down through
the Americas, the instinct was that women are the caregivers, the ones to defend. That's
written in our DNA.

Re misogynism - why not just pigeon hole me as a 'sexist', the word with no definition.
One feminist complained there weren't enough women in the Dunkirk movie!!! You gotta
laugh.

ps Can you identify the sexists in this image? There are three of them..

The instinct which prevailed in WW1 is the same instinct which has been with Homo
Sapiens since the beginning. An instinctive recoil at the thought of women put in a
place of danger.
Frankly, I think in the next major war that women should go and show us what they can
do - we don't see them as representing motherhood anymore.

ps did you see the sexists in my above image?

Your meme in the defence of rapist's, even one rapist shows me quite a lot about your view. Thanks for sharing.

I read your meme, no misrepresentation involved. You posted it.

And what words can you quote that show I support rape?
Methinks you are engaging in strawman fallacies, and maybe everybody who
disagrees with you is a rapist or supporter of rapists, like the far right woman
in my graphic.

Mocking unreported rape just so you can think you can gain a point.

Rape is not for mocking.

And changing the subject doesn't help your argument

I would not like women soldiers on our borders (though Indian army has women regulars). Our opponents will not adhere to Geneva convention. But there are many positions where women would be as good as men.

Lieutenant General Punita Arora, Indian Army
Air Marshal Padma Bandopadhyay, Indian Air Force
Lieutenant General Madhuri Kanitkar, Indian Army
Surgeon Vice Admiral Sheila S. Mathai, Indian Navy

The women can have more kids if a war-torn kingdom doesn’t prize monogamy.

The gender makes the difference in the Bible.

On one hand yes - boundaries like that between men and women, adults and children,
ruled and rulers and officiating priests vs the laity.
But on the other hand the bible teaches universalism - we are all equal before God. If
you read the Sermon on the Mount Matt 5,6,7 you see there are no men, or women, or
slaves, or rich, or poor, or powerful, or Samaritans etc..Jesus speaks to us all as one.

I mean using rape as a tool. Obviously a made up, greatly exaggerated conversation designed to diminish and mock the incidence of rape.

I really would have thought someone who had been raped would find it was offensive.

Absolutely. Rape is a crime.
But when someone, who is an avowed feminist, claims one in four women has been raped then
many people (men and women) would take that woman as a misandrist, an ideologue and a
political. And if such a person was flogging oppressed and oppressor narratives then they are
also likely to be a neo-Marxist.

As an aside, I blush at the thought that I had to look up that word 'misandrist' in Wikipedia
Quote, 'Misandry (/mɪˈsændri/) is the hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against men. ... It is the
asymmetrical counterpart of misogyny, prejudice against women.'

I had forgotten it. It's so little used in society. That's sexism because man-hating is quite prominent
in Western society, but the term for it is largely forgotten.
