Decline of Christianity and Religion

Absolutely. Rape is a crime.
But when someone, who is an avowed feminist, claims one in four women has been raped then
many people (men and women) would take that woman as a misandrist, an ideologue and a
political. And if such a person was flogging oppressed and oppressor narratives then they are
also likely to be a neo-Marxist.

As an aside, I blush at the thought that I had to look up that word 'misandrist' in Wikipedia
Quote, 'Misandry (/mɪˈsændri/) is the hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against men. ... It is the
asymmetrical counterpart of misogyny, prejudice against women.'

I had forgotten it. It's so little used in society. That's sexism because man-hating is quite prominent
in Western society, but the term for it is largely forgotten.

And apart from you putting an over exaggerated meme that had nothing to do with our conversation and was actually rather insulting did you check out any of the links i provided?

On one hand yes - boundaries like that between men and women, adults and children,
ruled and rulers and officiating priests vs the laity.
But on the other hand the bible teaches universalism - we are all equal before God. If
you read the Sermon on the Mount Matt 5,6,7 you see there are no men, or women, or
slaves, or rich, or poor, or powerful, or Samaritans etc..Jesus speaks to us all as one.
The Bible loves to claim something and then provide contradictory details.

Muffled

The question of nature verses nurture is a false dichotomy. The evidence indicates taht many things are factors into what we choose and what we become. Genetics, epigenetics, family, environment, experiences, etc.

I am reminded of a line from the TV series "Wheel of Time." The witch (aes sedai) says that Mat reacted from having the cursed object from his own evil within him. That isn't in the books so thank the writers of the TV series.

Funny how men got lots of access to prostitution but women just got stoned to death. When Tamar is accused of prostitution, notice how no one says Judah should be killed for knocking her up.

I wonder who would choose to be a woman but I believe I did once and had a baby. I believe most lives I am male though.

Or... APPARENT contradictions that must be teased out.
Example - Jesus said He did not judge, but His judgement was true.
?????
Took years for me to come to some opinion on this - Jesus judged
behavior (if you steal or committ adultery then that is wrong) but also
Jesus is not the arbiter of who has salvation - that is for God to judge.

Except that's not true.
1. The prophecy must not be about something that is likely to happen anyway.
2. Where we have verified that the prophecy was written prior to the event that fulfilled it.
3. Where we have verified that the event that fulfilled it really took place in a way that fulfilled the prophecy.
4. The the fulfilling event was not done by someone simply to make the prophecy come true.
5. The prophecy is specific and is not open to interpretation.

One of my favorites is Jacob's prophecy conerning his son Judah. From this son would be a line of
kings in a future Hebrew nation. These kings would have the responsibility for the Law. And all this
would end with the Messiah, in whom the Gentiles would believe in.

Another is Job, 'I know my Redeemer lives and he shall stand upon the earth in the latter days.'
This is a Redeemer - one who pays our price. He's alive today, not in the future or past. He is a
man. He will stand upon the earth in the far distant future.

And of course, there's tons of propheciies about the Jewish nation - small in size, a blessing to the
world through their ability, persecuted and hated, brought out of nations that were their 'graves' and
taking back, for a second time, the land they had been exiled from.

You think you have gotten around his apt objection by being clever, but really, we all notice you had no real reply.
You're not that oblivious, are you? His post wasn't worthy of a rebuttal, obviously. But, the irony is IC, that my reference to court was the reply, that you didn't seem to grasp.
....a greedy or voracious monkey, is not a moral being, obviously - it was a selfish protest - he won't do the same if the offense doesn't affect him, obviously. The act of aggression alone displays the lack of prudence and justice on the monkey's part, just for starters. All animals react very strongly in regard to food, typically for the worst. But, it's not even about food in this case, the monkey just wanted the same thing as someone else, irrespective of the quality, just like a baby who's motivations in such cases are from greed and selfishness, not equality.
Words can't express how utterly stupid such an example was in order to prove a spirituality in non-humans. ...but, apparently, some are impressed with folly

So is he alive today or is he going to stand on the earth in the distant future? You're saying two different things here.

And I'm sure a bunch that haven't come true as well.

You apparently didn't read and/or understand the situation described.

The chimp recognized that the situation was unjust and got ticked off about that injustice. You said that could not happen. Your attempts to belittle it do not make it any less valid.

Jacob's prophecy of a Hebrew nation but ending with the Gentile's Messiah was fulfilled by
the Seond Century AD.

Job said his Redeemer is alive, present tense, but in the far future (latter days) will stand upon
the earth. We take that not to be the Jewish Messiah as conquering King but as the Jewish
suffering Redeemer who came to pay the price for mankind's sin.

In Isaiah's day he spoke of the Jews returning 'a second time' to their homeland. That was nuts
to Jews - they hadn't lost their land a first time. Ezekiel spoke of a second return as well, and
this was even more offensive - the Jews were in captivity and here is this guy talking about a
second return in some latter day.

Two major prophecies yet to be fullfilled - Ezekiel 38,39 the new Israel attacked by Iran, Libya,
Ethiopia and part of what is today modern Russia. The second is the 'Second Coming' where
the Jews will see their expectant Kingly Messiah, but realize it's the same lowly man they once
crucified (Zechariah 9 and 12)

It clearly shows that they are aware of the concept of injustice and protested it - something you claimed they could not do.
You're confusing selfish greed with justice - they will not protest any infraction that they don't have a vested interest in. Not to mention Tiberius, you're being extremely crafty by attempting to minimalize the entire point that I made - I said morality, spirituality and justice.

You're getting way too simple. He won't react if he's not affected by the inequality, the way that a human will. Plus, you're not understanding what I said, which included many signs of spirituality in humans that is not found in animals: morality, religion, indignation for principle or others, remorse over guilty conscience....

Jesus and Yahweh are blatant hypocrites. The only way to still respect God and Jesus is to differentiate between the characters and the real entities.
