If god was an atheist, would god know god was god?

I go by what Veda has to say on this. The following is the last two lines from Nasadiya Sukta of Rig Veda (Nasadiya means that which is not untrue).

Whence all creation had its origin,
he, whether he fashioned it or whether he did not,
he, who surveys it all from highest heaven,
he knows - or maybe even he does not know.[11]

There is a Seer of the manifestation but rest is not knowable.

....
As per the Vedas, the Seer and the seen deities are ever worshipful.

If god is an atheist god would be in doubt of its true form with self esteem issues and in need of some counciling. This could possibly be the reason he requires worship stemming from jealousy issues as a need for self validation. I'm no Frued but could stem from lacking a mother.

And they say the BIBLE is contradictory and wishy-washy...

Well. Such a clear statement of a Seer manifesting the creation is not found anywhere else. And such an honest admission of unknowability beyond that is also not to be found anywhere else.

A clear statement of what? That whoever surveys all of creation from the highest heaven either fashioned all of creation or he did not, but at least he knows... or maybe not. I have a hard time discerning any useful statement there at all.

If you're just looking for an honest admission of unknowability, try 1 Corinthians 13:12.

"For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God]." (Amplified Bible)

He could have dementia. He might have forgotten his own identity.
There's some sort of Netflix original series in that.

I picture someone like...hmmm...Julie Andrews maybe? She's toddling along Route 66 seeking God, not realising that she herself IS God.

Cue some hilarious scenes where she prays and is distracted by a constant buzzing in her ear, which is actually her own voice talking to herself.

In the final episode/cliff hanger, she finds herself torn between atheism and Raelism when she becomes convinced the nurse in her care facility is actually a body-snatching alien.

hmmm. maybe God doesn't believe in himself. That would make him an atheist
and/or
since God is the supreme being, he doesn't have any god to worship so that would make him 'without any god', i.e an atheist

QED:D

Are you trying to imply that God has low self esteem, and just needs to believe in himself?

I could see him getting a little down on some of his design skills.
For an omnipotent being, he has made the occasional cock-ups in his time.
Although to be honest I'm still completely lost as to whether it's fair to blame the Kardashians on an all-powerful omni-being. I mean, he could have prevented them, but maybe they are the price of free will?

Well...maybe it's like the story I heard about Edison and the light bulb.

It goes something like this.

It took over 2,000 tries for him to invent the light bulb. When he was asked how it felt to fail over 2,000 times, he said that he didn't fail once. He invented the light bulb. It was a more-than-2,000-step process.

Maybe God's just working on getting to us to the point of having something worth watching on TV.

Don't stand in God's way! There's still a ways to go.
