It is about letting off a stinking fart in a packed out church and believing you have gotten away with it, because in a building so packed with other people, no one can pin point where it originated.
And to define theism in a situation like that is to pray to God that no one would accuse you of doing it, so if no one points the accusing finger to you at the end of the service, you use that as evidence of the existence of God, because you believe he answered your prayers.
