To be honest, I do not know if there is any particular translation of the Qur'an that Baha'is are told to use.

I believe that Muhammad was the last prophet in the Adamic Cycle of religion which began with Adam and ended with Muhammad.
He was called the Seal of the Prophets since He sealed off the Cycle of Prophecy.

Muhammad is not a prophet of the God of Abraham .. at all .. as all prophets for the God of Abraham Zadokite Priests .. Priests of the Order Melchi-Zedek .. Perhaps I am mistaken about Muhammad but I do not believe he was a Zadokite Priest. Hopefully a Muslim member can clear this up.
Who is the Bible God you are referring to ? The God of Abraham is around 1800 BC .. but this God is around long prior to that.

The last prophet of the one true God who is the same God as the God of the Adamic Cycle of religion, since there is only one true God, according to my beliefs.
I believe that the God of Abraham is the one true God, and that Muhammad was one of His Prophets.
I believe that Muhammad was a Messenger of God and a universal Manifestation of God.
Question: How many kinds of divine Prophets are there?
Answer: There are three kinds of divine Prophets. One kind are the universal Manifestations, which are even as the sun. Through Their advent the world of existence is renewed, a new cycle is inaugurated, a new religion is revealed, souls are quickened to a new life, and East and West are flooded with light. These Souls are the universal Manifestations of God and have been sent forth to the entire world and the generality of mankind.
Another kind of Prophets are followers and promulgators, not leaders and law-givers, but they are nonetheless the recipients of the hidden inspirations of God. Yet another kind are Prophets Whose prophethood has been limited to a particular locality. But the universal Manifestations are all-encompassing: They are like the root, and all others are as the branches; they are like the sun, and all others are as the moon and the stars.

I also believe that Abraham was a Prophet who was a universal Manifestation of God, one Prophet in a series of Prophets who have been sent by God to earth over the course of time.

I am down with the general idea you are putting forward .. there is a critical error in your presentation of that idea - which is
1) the assumption of Only one God
2) the assumption that all Prophet claimaings are from this one God
3) That there are not prophets for different Gods in your presentation .. such as the Moses .. the Aaronite Priests are not Priests of the Order Melchi-Zedek -- not prophets of the God of Abraham
4) you have left out some very important sources of "Gods Word" Such as Hamurrabi's law Code .. given him by Lord Marduk .. King Cyrus .. who'se God you mention but there is also a Marduk Connection .. which can - in a way .. be traced back to the Most High God El.
5) You can not understand anything from the OT Bible .. relevant to this topic .. "who is a prophet of who" from a monotheistic perspective .. which takes us back full circle to 1 I suppose.
6) different prophets speak for different Gods .. you can not assume all speak for same God .. as this is big false assumption.

Yeah seem a bit complicated to me but what I am gonna say you already know. We use the Quran as our yardstick and go by with the idea that god has send us prophets and messenger. He send them to different tribes and in different times. All the prophet have their own purpose but came with the same message, that to worship the creator of the heavens and earth. He is the only worthy of our worship and not adding partners.
So to answer your question. We don’t make any distinction between them but we are told that there are 5 prophets we deemed more important and that are Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. So the criteria you use, we don’t have that in Islam, at least it’s not mention in the Quran. As far I know

1) Your belief that there is only one God is an assumption .. and thus you are wrong .. your belief a falsehood.
2) "Those are your beliefs" .. ?? --- what are my beliefs ? I have not given any of my beliefs .. as my perspective on God is not important to the question .. so you are wrong yet again .. another false assumption .. and in this case an enormous misunderstanding as to whose beliefs are under consideration .. We are talking about the beliefs of the Canaanites .. and later the Israelites from inception to ~720 BC .. The beliefs of the people from which these stories originate. .. none of whome believe in only one God ..
OK ,,,.. you don't get to impose your assumptions about God onto the beliefs of people in question... and these people believed in Many Gods .. and the phrase "one true God" is laughable silliness .. many of the peoples had a favorite God ...or one they believed was higher than the others .. some chose to worship only one of the Gods .. but they still believed in the existence of the others... your belief that there is only one God .. complete and utter nonsense to these folks
And as such .. you can not understand what the Bible is saying in many places .. if you are trying to do so from a perspective of monotheism.. .. for example -- Psalm 82 - YHWH stands in The Assembly of EL , in the midst of the Gods he renders Judgment.
Whats going on here ... and where did all these Gods come from YHWH - EL - by name and a bunch of others .. what is happening .. from the perspective of the Israelite in 900 BC hearing this song being sung in one of the Temples of YHWH strewn about the Kingdom Isra-EL .
Thats easy .. simple Simon .. as everyone .. not just the Israelite but them and every other nation around from the Phonecians to the Hittites to the Babylonian nows what the Assembly of EL is.. EL Chief God of the Canaanite Pantheon .. .. and in the temple of YHWH .. would be a standing stone for Asherah .. Queen of Heaven .. worshiped along side other Gods such as their child Anat .. in Father - Mother - Child Trinity of sorts .. which is the only kind of trinities you find among these people .. and after a visit to the male and /or female prostitutes .. you could visit the high place out back to make a sacrifice .. Although I'm not following you completely yet, I'm getting a good idea of what you see in scripture. It, again, is something I saw as a youth and it confused me, but I honestly never pushed the questions since it was clearly against the church's belief. So therefore I had to be misunderstanding. Enough of all that -- my question from 60 years ago.......
The first commandment from Exodus 20 states: You shall have no other gods before me. Seems quite clear "this" God, I'm assuming at this time is the otherwise nameless, I Am, acknowledges there are lesser gods, or demigods. Is "I Am" also El?
I'll be digging into yet another line of inquiry now........

New covenant -- New God .. new commands .. this is not the God of Jesus .. neither one of these twin demiurge "Sons of God"s commands does Jesus follow . and that is how you know .. as "the Word was God" .. NO.. Sorry .. the story only makes sense ... and absolute sense to a 10th century BC Polytheistic Reader .. if it is other Gods that this God is Jealous of .. and that this God actually believes these other Gods exist .. even if you don't
And, it answers the question of who the Creator God was talking to when he decided to make man, with the pronouns used.
So, if I follow, and I will be digging in on my own, Abraham, under the guidance of Melchizedek, was a follower of El. But Moses was dealing with YHWH on Mt. Sinai. (Was that the same God that parted the Red Sea?) Anyway, YHWH, who gave His name as "I Am", gave the Ten Commandments, but then Jealous, a demigod equal to YHWH, jumps in to dictate the Covenant? (Exodus 34, BTW)
I probably have some things mixed up, but the primarily El is the Creator, the Almighty, and the final God to be acknowledged by the end of the Torah era? Or do the demigods continue to have a hand in the Hebrew people further into the history of the Tanaka?
