I thought is was obvious. If you watched the video the ultimate evidence for the scriptures was/ is the resurrection and that is the topic of this thread.
What is obvious is you are just going in circles.

Sorry for your loss of time.
But it could be worse-
I bet there are those who could say they studied
the BOM or Koran even longer!
Tell me, do you believe in Noahs ark, too?
I'm sorry folks like you won't do your proper homework / due-diligence, and then come on these forums acting like scholars of some degree.
Actually, the scriptures say God "spoke" everything into existence.Speaking of intelligent!
Educated people wonder how anyone can cling
to such a backward belief as that a god poofed
everything into place like it is.
If you cannot do the 21st cenury, try to catch up with
the 18th?

The overwhelming majority of biblical scholars are devoted Christian theologians so there is no question at all that they believe this, so what would Christian theologians know about historical facts? Here's 12 historical facts most scholars believe:
1. Jesus died by crucifixion.
2. He was buried.
3. His death caused the disciples to despair and lose hope.
4. The tomb was empty (the most contested).
5. The disciples had experiences which they believed were literal appearances of the risen Jesus (the most important proof).
6. The disciples were transformed from doubters to bold proclaimers.
7. The resurrection was the central message.
8. They preached the message of Jesus’ resurrection in Jerusalem.
9. The Church was born and grew.
10. Orthodox Jews who believed in Christ made Sunday their primary day of worship.
11. James was converted to the faith when he saw the resurrected Jesus (James was a family skeptic).
12. Paul was converted to the faith (Paul was an outsider skeptic).

So what happened to the body of Jesus? Why didn't the Jewish leaders who opposed Him display His dead body and end the "story" right then and there? What is obvious is you are just going in circles.

It's Moroni, not Maroni; (I assumed the error was not a typo the first time, but I guess not.) But more to the point, nobody has disputed the fact that Joseph Smith borrowed some of the symbolism he observed in Freemasonry to use in the temple endowment ceremony, so what's the point of your even mentioning it? Besides, since you're neither a Mormon nor a Freemason, you are hardly in much of a position to be drawing any conclusions regarding the similarities.Iĺl read your article, happily. Maybe maroni didn´t give it to him, my error. Nevertheless, I think I am on safe ground by saying the masons influenced some of your church ritual.
That's nonsense. If you believe in the Trinity (which I'm guessing you do), you cannot also accept the doctrine of Sola Scriptura. Besides, God never said He was done talking. If you want to try to put a gag order on Him, that's your prerogative. As a Christian in the Protestant way of sola scriptura, any additions to Holy Scripture, be it by Joseph Smith. Ellen G. White or Mary Baker Eddy, are anathema.

It appears we have a difference of opinion as to what an angel actually is, because I definitely don't see it that way. I'm actually not even following your line of thought, so if you want me to comment further, you'll have to give me something more to go on.I knew you might say that... that God had to give us choice between our following our bodily desires or following a spiritual life. Funny though, that He didn't think it worthwhile to give angels the same choice. I guess He favours angels over humans.

I would say only about half of those are " facts" that most scholars believe. For example, the claim that he was buried is dubious and not well supported. That would be a very exceptional event and the only support comes from the Gospels. And they were not written until more than a generation after the event. Hand one to the creos as it suits you.
Cats commit fraud by trying to fluff up
and look bigger. And basketball! Always
trying to defraud the other team,.
And you, like the creos, have no idea what was in
the intentions of the person who made it.
But never mind, ifn you dont care to think it
through any more than you have.
So what happened to the body of Jesus? Why didn't the Jewish leaders who opposed Him display His dead body and end the "story" right then and there?
Does the intent matter? The makers of those artifacts had to know that they were not what they were claimed to be.
On a related note, what would you think of someone that demanded that Piltdown Man was real?

That's incorrect. There's no claim Jesus was buried. And the earliest mention of the resurrection goes back to only a handful of years after the actual event - way too early for "tall tales" to grow. Here's the information on that:I would say only about half of those are " facts" that most scholars believe. For example, the claim that he was buried is dubious and not well supported. What I was saying was that God supposedly created angels in a spiritual form where they didn't have physical, imperfect bodies like us and they don't have to go through the same test or choice that we have to go through where we have to choose between following a spiritual life or a life that serves the desires of the physical body.It appears we have a difference of opinion as to what an angel actually is, because I definitely don't see it that way.
