Did SJWs help create Trump?

Ok I'll answer.
I would not like it but since the EC is the current Constitutional method used to determine the winner of the Presidential election I would accept it. I seriously doubt that there would be children walking out of school, college and university students walking out of class. Teachers and professors supporting those actions. And there sure wouldn't be riots in the streets; peaceful protest yes.

You listed various peaceful protests in a negative connotation and then praise peaceful protests in the very next sentence. Give the kids a break.
How do you see what I said in a negative connotation?
All I said was that children wouldn't be walking out of school. I guess one could assume that I disagree with grade school and high school students basically violating truancy laws and you would be right. Do you not agree?
Now as far as college and university students...no laws broken, exercising free speech. Do I think they are wrong to do so? No. But I don't think if Trump had won the popular vote and Hillary won the EC vote they would have been doing so. How do you see this as "a negative connotation"? Just being pragmatic.
As far as the teachers. Well we all know that the AFT is a wing of the Democratic Party and that the majority of college and university professors are definitely not supportive of conservative ideals. So again just stating the facts. Or do you disagree with those facts?

Just wanted to add a funny current event. Trump accuses Hamilton cast in Tweets of harassing Mike pence, and should apologize inmediately, because the theater should always be a safe space.
trump-twitter-hamilton-2.jpg

What was said by Hamilton cast:

I~rony.
I saw it in the news too.
I prefer that we have venues which don't turn into political disputes.
The booing, & then the cast protest (protest lite) were inappropriate.
I'd oppose their doing it to Obama too.....if it were ever possible for Broadway types to fall out of love with Democrats.

Btw, this is the same show which issued a casting call for non-whites only.
I favor their right to do this, but it's a tad ironic.

I think anyone who thinks the theater should be politically silent hasn't much experience with the theater.

Also Pence is an *** and should be called out on his concerning behavior and attitudes pretty much everywhere. And Trump is a whiny man child unable to take criticism leveled at him or his administration. Hence the irony.

My prediction is that many who supported Trump would take action, too. To what degree and what specifically, I don't know. But the whole moral high horse in this argument is easy when you are the winner. It's all hypothetical anyway, I suppose.

I like the idea of political disagreement optional venues.
It cannot be enforced, but it's my preference, & is the norm on Broadway.

But we have some hypocrisy going on here.
When Obama was vigorously pursuing 2 wars while deporting massive numbers of illegals, Broadway types were silent when he showed up. Their outrage is limited to one party.

I dislike Pence, but I also dislike feckless whiny butthurt SJWs who must make
a scene everywhere possible. Crying & screaming change no one's mind.

That's twice now I've used that awful word, & I'll avoid it more hereafter.

Do you think given Pence's rhetoric and political past, their statement was uncalled for?

It's entirely appropriate for the cast to express their views, but not in that venue.
The booing of Pence was inappropriate though.

To be upset with an election should not excuse bad behavior which will change nothing.
Bad behavior which is productive is another matter.

When going out to a movie, to dinner, to the theater, it's a fine time for
people to disengage from political rancor. Angry fearful people who'd
accomplish nothing but disturbing others are just immature & selfish.

It reminds me of Ms Mendoza, who insulted Bill Clinton at some festival in Chicago.
(She said "You suck, & those boys died.") What she did was just as wrong, even
though he did suck. It was not the time or place to inform him of that.
Btw, she & her husband were arrested for her insulting him.

So in other words...you want safe spaces where opposition is inappropriate and you'll be asked to stop?

But we have some hypocrisy going on here.

Neverminding that I went to plenty of shows of Democratic lean that still made fun of Obama (Capitol Steps, some antiwar sentiments at the end of a Hair production, a Japanese American production about the Japanese internment camps imploring Obama to speak on the anniversary date--and that's just done I've been to)
It should be of no surprise to and my one that administration which touts way more white supremacy problems and homophobia would come to the attention of an ethnic theater group.

I dislike Pence, but I also dislike feckless whiny butthurt SJWs who must make
a scene everywhere possible. Crying & screaming change no one's mind.
Maybe you should take or up with your whiny butthurt president elect then, and not be surprised when a theater group theatrically uses a stage to air their greviences with a homophobe.

Edit: Might I add, in an incredibly polite and respectful way. Have you watched the video?

That is a very shallow take on the situation. Given Pence's background and rhetoric, they have every right to be uneasy and afraid. I don't expect you to understand that. However, you are whining because they didn't exercise their freedom speech when you felt it was appropriate. Tough cookies, that isn't up to you.

I'm not asking anyone to stop.
Just criticizing the behavior.

If one goes to hear the Capitol steps, one would expect political humor.
(Although I use the term "humor" advisedly for those guys.)
But if a politician were in the audience, I wouldn't seize the opportunity
to single them out for criticism & booing. That's just uncivilized.
Maybe you should take or up with your whiny butthurt president elect then, and not be surprised when a theater group theatrically uses a stage to air their greviences with a homophobe.
He's your president, not mine.
All I did is vote for him.

Well, I am a shallow person.
Whaddaya expect?
Given Pence's background and rhetoric, they have every right to be uneasy and afraid. I don't expect you to understand that.
I never said they don't have the right to do what they did.
I just find it wrong......or more accurately, "wrong lite".
However, you are whining because they didn't exercise their freedom speech when you felt it was appropriate. Tough cookies, that isn't up to you.
Do you believe that anyone who would criticize wrongful action is "whining"?
Oh dear.
You need to read more carefully to grok the tone here, & allow that reasonable
people may disagree about what is appropriate behavior in public. And I did
apologize for throwing that haggis at you in the RF cafeteria yesterday.

Trump did. Using the same scare words people dub SJWs when they're busy ignoring the actual criticisms. That is hilarious to me.

I would. As I said, he's an ***. Also, they told the audience to stop booing and presented their dialogue very respectfully and calmly which, frankly, is more than he deserves.

He's your president, not mine.
All I did is vote for him
I didn't elect him. Hell my state didn't elect him. Hell the majority of my country didn't elect him. He's about as much my President as Hillary would have been yours. In name only.

But I'm not booing anyone in a theater, or plaintively sobbing in public.
To opine on an internet forum is very different.
Your persistent condescension of what could be a serious political divide is making this discussion with you difficult.

I don't defend Trump's response....which I found petulant.

I say everyone deserves peace when out on the town.
Pence, Hillary, Trump, Bill....even Nixon (back in the day).
I didn't elect him. Hell my state didn't elect him. Hell the majority of my country didn't elect him. He's about as much my President as Hillary would have been yours. In name only.
No take backs.
I gave him to you.
He's yours.
