Different Christian Denominations May Have Different Beliefs

Muffled

Jesus in me
That is close to my own thoughts on the matter.
If God was concerned that "His" church would be so divided, he would not have established it the way he did.
Its very multiplicity indicates to me that this is what he intended.
It shows very clearly that the details causing those splits are not important.
What is important is the faith that they share.
God's Church embraces diversity, unlimited in the love of Jesus.

I am not one who believes that God favors false belief. No doubt He allows it but that does not mean that He wishes it to be so.

I think it is possible that some of the divisions are gift divisions, one receiving one talent another two etc.
On the other hand some divisions are over doctrines that aren't that important and others are due to false beliefs. False beliefs are like sin in that they are accompanied by adverse affects.

That contains the crux of the argument.... how do you define a false belief.
All Christians share beliefs that they have received either....
From the Bible (written tradition)
From Tradition ( Teaching,verbal and worship)
From inspiration from God. (prayer)

I do not believe God is in the least concerned about what we believe.
he is very concerned about what we do with our lives and what we hold in our hearts.
He sent us an example in Jesus, his Life, teachings and ultimate love.

A belief that Jesus defines as false.

Jesus said: Mat 5:21 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 but I say unto you, that every one who is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgment;
Evidently Jesus took exception to the beliefs of men.

A belief that Jesus defines as false.

Jesus said: Mat 5:21 ¶Ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 but I say unto you, that every one who is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgment;

Jesus was quoting OT law there, and, as God the Lawgiver, was giving new law.
