You missed the point of the OP.
We are starting to base more things on "how we feel" than "science"
If Bob feels he is a female and feels he should participate as a female we should accept it and support him regardless of what dna/science shows
BUT...
If Bill feels a god is real and feels a god created all we know, we should dismiss it as belief and he's crazy because science shows natural explanations and evolution.
Putting feelings first, which is pushed by the Left, is what is causing the gender identity fad. When the brain writes to memory, feeling tags from the limbic system are added to sensory content when our memory is written to the cerebral matter. All our memory had both content and feeling tags due to this natural writing process. Our strongest memories have the strongest emotional valance; first kiss, marriage, first child, trauma, etc, and well preserved sensory details.
The value of this is when an animal comes upon something new or old, that triggers their memory, they can act upon the attached feeling, without having to think. If they see a new food item and the brain extrapolates it with a positive memory, they will act upon the good feeling and eat. If this eating also feels food, this feeling is then added to that new content, for a new memory.
The problem that appears, for humans, is there are only a fixed number of feelings. On the other hand, sensory content is almost limitless in terms of combinations of sensory details. This means that a limited number of feelings, will each be used, for a wide range of similar but different things. For example, if I asked you to list your favorite foods, these will all have similar feeling tags; good feelings connected to tasting good. The content can be a varied as bacon, ice cream and a good steak, in terms of sensory details. They all share the same basic feeling tag. You cannot easily tell which is which from the side of the feeling. Which is which has to come from the sensory content side.
A good example, was the propaganda machine made Trump a source of fear, using fear tags that were also connected to nuclear war and Hitler. Those who were orientated by feelings first, sensed all these things as being connected to Trump, since they all had the same feeling tag, and even if not rationally connected via content in space and time. One can be easily manipulated.
Feelings are connected to spatial data processing. The right side of the brain. Each feeling is 3-D in the sense there are lots of memories with each emotional tags, with this all part of its 3-D neural structure. If you judge only by emotions; there can be a problem of not being able to isolate specific sensory content, since unrelated sensory content can appear from any given feeling, if it was tagged with the same tag.
Mr Spock, would try to shut off his emotions so he does not experiences this same 3-D affect, that can blend a wide range of content with similar feeling tags; bias and racism. He is looking at specific sensory content within 3-D blocks of data, which can be unique to itself. This is more 2-D thinking; cause and affect and is more left brain. The other way around; feeling first, deals with block data, which can add confusion if a single sensory content is unconsciously assumed to express the entire 3-D or spatial feeling.
This can be useful if you can learn to move between 3-D; block data and 2-D subset of specific details; move between left and right hemispheres. This allows both differentiation and integration affects. There is also what could be understood as 4-D thinking. This make use of the 3-D block data but with the addition of a timed sequence; active subroutine.
