Do Christians and Muslims Worship the Same God?

Kai, you misunderstand me. The point I am making is simply that not all Muslim scholars accept what you say is the Islamic view of only their way being valid. They do not interpret the verses you cite above in the way that you are doing. Why and how their interpretation comes about, is ideally suited for a fresh thread, (which if you want you can start and I can write there). I only wish to say here that many Muslims do not believe that only Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) way is valid and all other ways are invalid. It may be that you have not been exposed to such a viewpoint amongst Muslims before and hence it seems wrong to you.

Regards

indeed i havent!! this is news to me the Allah is my God and Mohamed is his prophet is not fundamental and there are other ways than living through the principles of Islam to reach jannat

But i am aware that Muslim scholars have differing views on lots of things but those who reject the prophet ? can still enter by good works? not Hanif, but people who are aware of the message but reject it?

It is not impossible that you get some new information Kai. When you find time go ahead and read the divine guidance chapter from this book here.

Kai, One has to know the difference between when Muhammad is speaking to the pagans/ hanif of Quraysh and when he was speaking to people of other nations and when he was speaking to people of the Book etc. Scholars such as Aazad, Nizam uddin and Sir Syed etc recognized these distinctions.

a new thread is probably the way to go but i have to think about how to word the OP and where to put it.

Christians worship Holy Spirit and Jesus(peace be upon them). So we dont worship the same God. We worship the God who created Holy Spirit and Prophet Jesus.
