I follow ethical laws too I hate to tell ya.

I wonder how many of these reform Jews attend synagogue on more than a once or twice per year basis? I wonder how many of them could daven or wrap tefillin on their own? I wonder how many have read any Jewish philosophy? How many of them continue practicing Judaism? Fast on Tish B'av? Those numbers are what really matter.

I put M. Mendalsohn in the same league as the other two Moses'. Paradigm changers.

What point is there to a religion if there's nothing to follow? No real objective moral goal? What values does reform Judaism have that make it anymore meaningful than a general belief in theism?

And no, I haven't had shrimp. I try to keep a strict pescetarian diet if I eat out.

I have stated on other threads that I believe we need to work on 3 areas in the Middle East: education, intelligence and communication. Perhaps you can add to this list.

Of course reform has moral goals. I have been trying to tell you, but you do not listen. Reform Jews uphold the ethical Halacha. These are Jewish laws.

My allusion to shrimp refers to the "treif banquet".

In the Middle East as a whole? That's a pretty big subject. I think a big thing is that people need to recognize the common humanity of their fellow human beings. That Vice article about the out of control racism and genocidal fervor in Israel is chilling. The best solution to such things is usually exposure. The Jewish and Arab people in Israel tend to be pretty segregated. They need to spent more time together in normal social activities. It's similar to South Africa or when racism was out of control in America.

You missed my point entirely. I could not be another "race" because "race" is just a stupid idea we associate with skin colors. Whereas, on the other hand, non-Jews absolutely can become Jews. Conversion is essentially adoption into the Jewish family: the only things required are the passion and dedication to begin learning Hebrew and Jewish text and tradition, which anyone could do if they wished.
