My question is do you believe in the afterlife?

Baha’is believe that when the physical body dies, the soul leaves the body and passes to the spiritual world where it takes on a new form made up of heavenly elements.

There is judgement within the context of the Bible for all people after this life.

Baha’is believe there will be a judgment when we pass from this world into the spiritual world. We will be summoned by a company of God’s angels and we will be asked of the things we have done in this life, and we will be repaid for our doings. But we will also be rewarded for our doings.

“Know ye that the world and its vanities and its embellishments shall pass away. Nothing will endure except God’s Kingdom which pertaineth to none but Him, the Sovereign Lord of all, the Help in Peril, the All-Glorious, the Almighty. The days of your life shall roll away, and all the things with which ye are occupied and of which ye boast yourselves shall perish, and ye shall, most certainly, be summoned by a company of His angels to appear at the spot where the limbs of the entire creation shall be made to tremble, and the flesh of every oppressor to creep. According to my beliefs, not only will we be judged by God, we will also judge ourselves when we look back upon our lives and reflect upon the worth of our deeds.

“It is clear and evident that all men shall, after their physical death, estimate the worth of their deeds, and realize all that their hands have wrought. I swear by the Day Star that shineth above the horizon of Divine power! They that are the followers of the one true God shall, the moment they depart out of this life, experience such joy and gladness as would be impossible to describe, while they that live in error shall be seized with such fear and trembling, and shall be filled with such consternation, as nothing can exceed. What are the other realms for souls to travel to? Like is there something different than just having one place to Go?

Baha’is believe that there are many worlds of God.

“Verily I say, the creation of God embraceth worlds besides this world, and creatures apart from these creatures. Do thou meditate on that which We have revealed unto thee, that thou mayest discover the purpose of God, thy Lord, and the Lord of all worlds. But nobody can comprehend these worlds except God although I imagine we will know more about these worlds when we experience them.

We are assured that if we suffered in the world owing to what God has ordained, there is heavenly delight in store for us after we leave this world, or even before. These are the promises of Baha'u'llah.

“O My servants! Sorrow not if, in these days and on this earthly plane, things contrary to your wishes have been ordained and manifested by God, for days of blissful joy, of heavenly delight, are assuredly in store for you. Worlds, holy and spiritually glorious, will be unveiled to your eyes.You are destined by Him, in this world and hereafter, to partake of their benefits, to share in their joys, and to obtain a portion of their sustaining grace. To each and every one of them you will, no doubt, attain.” Gleanings, p. 329

Baha’u’llah wrote that if we knew what the spiritual world was like we would not want to remain one more minute in this world and that is why we are not told more about the nature of the spiritual world.

“If any man be told that which hath been ordained for such a soul in the worlds of God, the Lord of the throne on high and of earth below, his whole being will instantly blaze out in his great longing to attain that most exalted, that sanctified and resplendent station…. The nature of the soul after death can never be described, nor is it meet and permissible to reveal its whole character to the eyes of men.” Gleanings, p. 156

The other reason we are not told more about the spiritual world is because it is impossible to describe it since it is different.

I'm all for an afterlife. Especially one where everybody gets what they truly deserve until everyone is redeemed. If evil is eternal then may those that do it eventually cease to be.

I believe that everybody will be rewarded or punished according to Divine Justice but they will also receive their own reward according to what they chose to believe in this life and their chosen actions.

“O My servants! It behoveth you to refresh and revive your souls through the gracious favors which, in this Divine, this soul-stirring Springtime, are being showered upon you. The Day Star of His great glory hath shed its radiance upon you, and the clouds of His limitless grace have overshadowed you. How high the reward of him that hath not deprived himself of so great a bounty, nor failed to recognize the beauty of his Best-Beloved in this, His new attire.” Gleanings, p. 167

Is there an afterlife, I think logically there has to be one. I don't feel or sense that there is, but logically I'm convinced that it is likely. The absolute unconditioned reality of vast intelligence must exist. We are merely one expression of it.

I believe that logically ther has ton be an afterlife and I sense that there is another world beyond this world. In fact, I have no question that there is one. Nothing else would make sense if God is loving and just, considering what some people had to endure in this life. And of course you already know my favorite passage.

I don't think supreme justice exists in the afterlife. But I do think life must eventually lead inevitably to supreme justice.

I do belive the real life begin after a humans has let go of the body (physical death) But i do not think every human end up in the same place, because it depend on how we have lived and how we have practiced example a spiritual teaching, or how a person has lived morally good or not even with no spiritual belief.

I can not explain what "afterlife" is like because it is outside of my current understanding.

Multiple births in many types of states and realms and eventual merging with Absolute Entity we call Brahman.
Our actions create mental states. These mental states automatically project us to our next state of existence. So for example if one is loving, one is projected to a state of existence where love is predominant. If one is filled with hate, one is automatically projected to an environment where hate predominates. Etc.

According to the scriptures, human beings are made in the image of God who if infinite. There will be no 500 billion “years “, there will be no time; simply Eternity. Being made in the image of God means, for one thing being creative. How many unfinished projects do you have? How many ideas or things you’d like to do or places you’d lijevto visit that you’ll never have the time or opportunity for in this life? How many things are there just on this earth to discover or learn about? Will you have time to see or learn everything there is to know? How about the entire universe? I just can’t imagine eternity would or could possibly be boring. There will always be something new to discover, learn, do, see, or create, as well as friends to see and people to meet. I suppose angels will be present, too. I believe God created beings to share in His love, joy, beauty and creativity forever and ever without end. As the scriptures say,
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
1 Corinthians 2:9

My view that in some mysterious way God will enable us to estimate our own deeds, but God doesn't directly judge us. My view on this in part is derived from what I've heard from Near Death Experiences. Remember also that there are those will receive their own punishment if they are a certain way.

Wholly for the sake of God he should proclaim His Message, and with that same spirit accept whatever response his words may evoke in his hearer. He who shall accept and believe, shall receive his reward; and he who shall turn away, shall receive none other than his own punishment.

I posed a question on another thread of who founded and wrote about the Baha’i faith: hope someone will come answer the question ; because I just curious about it. It would be a subjective view point from the Baha’i faith and not your opinion, if you are saying is what you are really believing in my own eyes.

What would be real life after this life?
What do you mean by belief is not enough is that in the Christian sense of believing and having faith and looking at the Lord Jesus Christ who came, lived, died, was buried and risen again and to willingly loving God and others?
You don’t believe everyone will end up in the same place? What does that mean to you?

In the Christian understanding believing and having faith in God and the Lord Jesus Christ is enough to receive the kingdom of heaven (with in us / the Holy Spirit/spirit of Christ) here on this earth. To have peace with God and live willingly to show love towards God and towards others. Regardless of their moral behavior for all have been forgiven just not all believe or have been transformed by the spirit of Christ/holy spiritual because of not believing or having faith.

No. We know it for sure that afterlife exists, and that it is a chemical afterlife. What I am constituted of is eternal, it cannot be destroyed. It has been around for some 14.78 billion years.
Why did you not attend the science lessons in school that you might have known more? All your doubts are because of that. You say repeatedly that you do not know for sure if afterlife exists but even then believe in a God, Jesus , judgment, heavenly kingdoms! If no afterlife exists, then God, Jesus and heavenly kingdoms are all imagined.
I know of a Jerusalem where Ben (Benjamin Netanyahu) ruled for the last so many years. I hear that there is going to be a new king there.
Why have subjective beliefs and why not objective beliefs? Why do you want to be a bundle of contradictions?
