I drink skimmed milk
Have it on cereals in tea and drink it neat. never had a problem
Love yogurt
love cheese of all kinds.
Every thing in moderation.
No antibiotics allowed in milk sold in UK. Which is mostly pasteurised.
all milk is tested for TB and mastitist.( and semen????)

But if you know the local farmer and their practices then you know it's fine.
Frankly any mass produced food is going to be unhygienic... just look at the recent egg debacle.

but i know what you mean , i think i would have to own a cow myself.
but thats not the main reason . i usually drink soya etc..

Having both worked on a small dairy farm and spending a couple of years as a dairy equipment technician, I can honestly say I have seen more unhygienic practices in some of the restaurants I have worked in than on dairy farms.

I drink milk here. Not much of it and only the lactose-free stuff, though, since I'm lactose intolerant.
After all the stuff I've heard about BGH, I would probably avoid drinking milk in the US at all.

Been on a dairy farm all my life. I love milk. I used to go to the milking shed, and skim the cream off the top of the vat and eat it. Was so good. Also - pancakes and porridge are much better with the freshest milk

Stupid, crazy conspiracy theorists. I've been drinking milk my whole life. It's good. Not only that, but I am thin, good looking, can lift planets and I am able to shoot fireballs out of my hands. I'll stop drinking milk when I grow a huge tumor that pops out of my body with "Milk made me" stamped on it.
