Do you hate people?

Nope, I said God has ordained both means and end. So our preaching is also ordained by God, so we cannot help but preach. Kind of like Jonah.

So, since man has no say in his actions, he is either compelled by God to believe, or compelled by God not to believe, why create at all? He purposely sends some people to eternal hell based only on his whim and entertainment. This seems not like a loving, forgiving God, but the evil demiurge as spoken by the Gnostics.

I do not know why you come to such conclusions. You must study more.

When I was a Christian, I leaned more toward the Wesleyan/Arminian viewpoint. I studied Calvinism, as I am of predominantly Scottish ancestry. But I found that it was completely unbiblical, and that it degraded the concept of God.

I direct you to Calvin's magnum opus, The institutes of Christian religion. That will answer all your queries.

Guys is this for real, This guy MUST be a troll, I've never meant a Calvinist so adamant about his hatred of people he decides (with no divine revelation) are reprobate,

You ever think of switching over the single predestination

I have my theories on whether he's a troll or not, but it was late (at least here in the southeastern US), and I couldn't sleep because of this wicked cold, and I needed to be entertained. But yeah, even from Calvinists, I've never heard such vile assertions. My ex-brother-in-law is a theology teacher at a conservative Baptist seminary, and he's a Calvinist, and while he's a pain in the neck, I've never heard him say the kinds of things this guy has been saying.

Vile? What's so vile about any of this?

Well this turned into a religious debate quickly, didn't it?

To answer the OP, no. I don't hate people at all. Hating somebody with a whip would just be cruel.
