And what education do you have to start calling people that have more knowledge then you liars???

It's called logic, my friend.

An idea that transcends time and space is unfathomable by human experience. So any human which claims they know something about the external world, such as God, is lying.

Oh.. your logic is so flawed as to be laughable.

You based your argument on your opinion that 15 people lied.
You offer NO justification for that assertion, NO reasoning, NO data, no proof, no evidence, NOTHING.

So, right there.. your argument fails. Your logic fails, your THINKING FAILS.
WHY go one?

I already gave a simple answer to your misunderstandings. The 'CONCEPT' of God is beyond the scope of the universe. Therefore, NO HUMAN BEING can for 100% certainty claim that they know how everything is beyond the scope of universe. I don't have to PROVE anything, it's just logic.

It has nothing to do with rejection. You can definitely reject an idea, but claiming that you 100% know about something that transcends time and space is unreal.
Which (of course) is why I don't do that. As I said - nothing is certain. No such certainty is implicit in atheism.

Hence why I made my original comment. Those 15 people claiming they 'know' there is no Creator are being dishonest, and you just agreed with me.

You just said, "nothing is certain. No such certainty is implicit in atheism."

Contradiction much? Or do I have you misunderstood?
Yes, I said that nothing is certain. I still know that God does not exist - there is no contradiction there.

You do not know that there IS a creator with any certainty by the way. So make sure you never say that you know there is a creator - because according to your logic, that would be dishonest right?

Maybe you should re-read the thread? I don't think anybody claimed 100% certainty, you must have just imagined so.

You don't know that there isn't a Creator, you haven't traveled outside the universe to figure that out. And know that I mean any Creator. The universe could be created by some aliens, it could be created by the pink unicorn, it doesn't matter, science will never be able to reach beyond the boundaries of the universe, and beyond that, everything is doubtful. So you don't know that there isn't a Creator, just another typical human expressing his ideas thinking they are 100% right.

I also don't have to answer to your allegation that I know that there IS a Creator, as I made no claim of knowing there is a Creator, but I definitely would say the likelihood of being one stacks against the odds that there isn't.

Next time, be humble.

Sorry, but that's a contradiction. If you KNOW in full caps, that is 100% certainty.

Just look at how you sound.
No it isn't. Especially given that I stated outright it is not 100% certainty several times. I know God does not exist, like all knowledge however it is not 100% certain.

How do you define knowledge?

For instance, many define it as justified, true belief. In that instance it is informed by truth which incorrigible.

I think it to be justified perfectly well by the absence of evidence to the contrary. Same with fairies.
As it happens, dismissing the possibility of the existence of implausible beings for which there is no evidence is a logically sound and surprisingly reliable tactic.

But likewise there are 12 people who claim that they "know" there is a Creator and they are likewise being dishonest.

Tea pots orbiting Mars are justified perfectly well by the absence of evidence to the contrary.

Let's keep mathematics out of the way, since it is ultimately just a bunch of tautologies.

Can you name me something about the world that you know to be true?
Do you think the term "scientific knowledge" makes sense, or is it oxymoronic?

Sure I KNOW that there is no God. I just don't claim 100% certainty.

How can you be not certain of what you know does not exist?

If you are not certain of something, you can disbelieve that something does not exist; but, as long as you are uncertain, you cant say you know it doesnt exist.

Sounds like a contradiction.

Def. Certian: "Known for sure; established beyond doubt."

If you know God does not exist you are certain of this fact.
If you are not certain, you dont Know just disbelieve.

Just saying.

Dude, we are going to go in circles. I'm going to end it here.

But likewise there are 12 people who claim that they "know" there is a Creator and they are likewise being dishonest.

Logically speaking, not religiously, but logically.

If there was a creator who created the universe and all that is in it, then this creator has the power to make itself known to its creation in any way, shape, or form. So when it comes down to 'knowing absolutely', it is very possible...in a logical sense.

So those 12 people, it's a 50/50 chance they are being dishonest or telling the truth.

On the other hand, those who voted that they know for sure that there is no creator, there's no way to absolutely prove that.

I stand by the logic I presented unless refuted.

"Can you name me something about the world that you know to be true?"

I exist, and I know that is true.

"Do you think the term "scientific knowledge" makes sense, or is it oxymoronic?"

Science has multiple meanings, if we mean science to mean 'studies on various things', then scientific knowledge would just be the knowledge of the various things which were studied.
