I put this in debates because I'm sure it will turn in to one. Saving the mods time of having to move it later lol

Just curious how many do/don't

Its a simple question. Either you own a gun(s) or you don't. It doesn't matter if you used to.

I own (or "own", not entirely sure of the legalities) two guns that were handed down to me by my late father. He was big on hunting and was an Olympic athlete for shooting. I've taken them to the range a few times, but luckily I doubt I'll ever need them for anything more than that. I have decided against hunting as a personal choice.

Was the transfer done with paperwork showing you now own guns that used to belong to someone else?

Many people don't hunt. Many do.
Some like hunting for food.
Some like hunting for sport. IMO they are worthless idiots with a big ego.

I have a G43x (Glock), Smith & Wesson 640 revolver and a Mossberg 500 Combo (field/home security) shotgun. Can't decide which pistol to sell so I have two.

I also lockdown and nearly never use my dad's Gold Cup Colt 1911s, one is 45 auto the other is 38 super. He was a top Marine pistol competitor in the 60s and 70s. He was an excellent rifle marksman as well.

There ya go running down Americans again.

So you're an Australian redneck right? You own guns so you must be a redneck.
Nah. Yanks are a bunch of trigger happy lunatics ;)

My country of drunken rednecks only needed one mass shooting to tell us that we needed to regulate guns.
How many has America had since the 1990s again? 50? 60?
How many kids have died as a result? Just refresh my memory

Again even before your strict laws you didn't have mass shooting like the US.

Why not?

Here's my question....

If guns are the problem, why haven't my guns killed any humans?

I don't own any, though I know how to use and maintain them and am a decent shot.

In all of Europe there has never been the second amendment.
Particularly in my country, it is very difficult to obtain the license. You need to pass a test, even if you are a professional hunter.
I have never seen a firearm in my life...I wouldn't be able to distinguish a real one from a toy.
