AlanGurvey said:G-d destests the action, not you G-d most likely LOVES you because as long as you are an overall good person, you have a place in G-ds heart. He doesn't get outraged when u do a bit of mistakes. BTW Detest does not equal hate... hate is much more deep and angry...
zombieharlot said:I could have guessed that, but I asked anyway. I have a question though. I'm not sure if it's one you can really answer, but we'll see. Are the things from the OT that still abide restated in the NT? For instance, I know that somewhere in the NT (I think somewhere in Matthew) it says to still obey the Ten Commandments.
One of the guys in choir at our church performs in a drag queen show, so I don't konw where you get the idea you're living a mistake.zombieharlot said:A bit of mistakes? I'm a freaking drag queen! I'm living a "mistake".
So? Your still a good person, thats all that G-d cares about.zombieharlot said:A bit of mistakes? I'm a freaking drag queen! I'm living a "mistake".
he also kills kittens... what do you have to say about THAT!?!?!?!AlanGurvey said:So? Your still a good person, thats all that G-d cares about.
dawny0826 said:The ten commandments are reiterated, like you've said and in addition to the ten commandments...Christ establishes a new covenant with man. Some of the laws are similar, of course. There are universal do's and dont's within the Bible...from the OT thru the NT.
In the NT...we're ultimately shown how to be reconciled to God and how we should live our lives once we've accepted Christ's sacrifice. Christ BECAME atonement...in Christ...we can live in death...so the ways of atonement and quite a bit of the Jewish law which those in the OT were bound to is a non-issue.
If I were to summarize in one word...the overall message of the NT of the bible...it would be...love. Christ did not discriminate. Christ taught us to love one another...to reach out to one another...to forgive each other.
I'm sure I'm reiterating things that you already know but I thought I'd take a stab at it anyway.

I've Frubaled Dawn's post, so all I can recommend is that you go back and read her words.

Tiberius said:I hate Jar Jar Binks. Doesn't that count?
Tiberius said:How so? Both fictional, after all.

And he hates you because you made a poll about the fact if he hates you or not .

You're an Atheist, you dont even believe there is a god!
But it's not God you hate. Rather, the concept of God you hate.
