Thanks for posting, but salvation is not from genuflecting, but, as the Bible explains, from simple trust in Jesus Christ!

Simple trust in Jesus Christ?
Where did you pick that up in the Bible?
Did your pastor tell you that?

I have heard people say just accept Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior.
Isn't that so cheap and so easy???
when Jesus said this and this is recorded in your Bible:

Matthew 7:13-14 Living Bible (TLB)
“Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way. But the Gateway to Life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it.

You could wholeheartedly trust the Lord Jesus Christ
Provided Jesus Christ knows you and you know the real Jesus Christ.
Other than that, you have chosen the easy way where a lot of people have chosen.

so.....

we all survive the last breath

and it's heaven or hell

and we can't die?

oh yes we can
The Bible says that God calls things that be not as though they were.
For example, God said that Abraham was the father of a multitude even before he had any children.

in the same way, a man can be said to be a dead man even though he is still living. And a person can be said to have life eternal even though he will die at some point. It's because the man already possesses what grants eternal life. And the man who is dead already possesses the death in Adam.

perhaps you are dealing with a misnomer . there are the heavens where the birds fly ,a area called mid-heaven,and then there is the heavens where the planets and star's are seen . and there is the place called heaven , the place where it is that God is known to be . Elijah could only have traveled into the heaven where the birds fly .it was said there was a wind storm. wind storms happen in mid-heaven.

Enoch was taken not to heaven ,his life was ended . some would like to think way to early because other's were living fare longer .
he was not taken to heaven, in view of Jesus’ clear statement at John 3:13. It appears that, as in the case of Moses’ body, Jehovah God disposed of Enoch’s body, for “he was nowhere to be found.”

That is why the church you belong is different from the church that I belong.
It is why I don't jump to conclusions while you do.

Genesis 5:24 Living Bible (TLB)
Enoch: Enoch was sixty-five years old when his son Methuselah was born. Afterwards he lived another 300 years in fellowship with God, and produced sons and daughters; then, when he was 365, and in constant touch with God, he disappeared, for God took him!

Genesis 5:24 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
One day Enoch was walking with God, and he disappeared. God took him.

Hebrews 11:5
5 By faith Eʹnocha was transferred so as not to see death, and he was nowhere to be found because God had transferred him;b for before he was transferred he received the witness that he had pleased God well.

Anyone who says being saved is easy, isn't saved. IMO.

I'm not changing anything. What I'm telling you is the Bible NOWHERE speaks of anyone as being "spiritually dead". But it does speak of being dead and death. And the death it speaks of is the death that Adam's sin has caused for everyone like him. "In Adam all die" it says.
God told Adam that on the day he ate of the tree he would die. And when Adam ate of the tree God said to him, "dust you are and to dust you shall return". Adam was given the death sentence that very day. So, from that day on Adam was a dead man. The only way Adam could have been given eternal life is if he had then eaten of the tree of life. But God did not allow Adam to eat of that tree after he sinned. In fact, God banished Adam from the garden and set cherubs and flaming sword to guard the tree of life.
So, all men are dead in Adam. And the only way a man can attain eternal life is through Christ.

I just showed you the verses where it speaks of spiritual death.

"In Adam all die". Adam died the day he ate the fruit. If he didn't God lied. (Gen. 1:17) "...for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Adam died the moment he ate. Spiritually dead. And death was now working in his physical body.

All men are spiritually dead when they are born as they are in Adam. And death works in their physical bodies also, till the day it dies. Yes, the only hope is Jesus Christ when a man is 'born-again'. His spirit, which was dead, now lives. His spirit which was separated from God, now lives.

But the body is not born-again. Thus it dies and will be resurrected.

And I told you the Bible NEVER mentions "spiritual death" anywhere about anyone.

"In Adam all die". Adam died the day he ate the fruit. If he didn't God lied. (Gen. 1:17) "...for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Adam died the moment he ate. Spiritually dead. And death was now working in his physical body.

Adam did not die the day he ate. And again, NOWHERE is it mentioned he would have a spiritual death.

What is said though, is that he was told "Dust YOU are and to dust YOU shall return".

All men are spiritually dead when they are born as they are in Adam. And death works in their physical bodies also, till the day it dies. Yes, the only hope is Jesus Christ when a man is 'born-again'. His spirit, which was dead, now lives. His spirit which was separated from God, now lives.

Again, you are adding your own idea when you say "All men are spiritually dead when they are born as they are in Adam.". That is false!

The truth says that "in Adam all sinned", and "the wages of sin is death", not spiritual death, but death death.

Where is your name found in the Bible? Where does it say your name and that you're saved.

Then God lied in (Gen. 2:17). I see I mistakenly put (1:17) in my previous post.

You gave the verse before yourself. "In Adam all die". If you're in Adam, your dead.

Don't forget, Paul is speaking of the resurrection of the dead. He is speaking of those who are dead and who are to be raised from the dead. The dead go into graves and when they are raised from the dead they are raised with spiritual bodies. They don't have to go anywhere to get that spiritual body because they are raised with it.

Narrow is the road that leads to life, and few are those that find it.
From what I have observed, most Christians "believe" they are the few.....
But that cannot be true, if the other Christians who make the same claim are the few...
Do you understand the problem, it is a logical problem?
If all of the Christians who make this claim are the few, the few becomes many.

So what is an outside observer like me to think? o_O

When I find a JW in grave error, like you did with Enoch
I have to use your poison [so to speak] for you to realize your mistake.

Enoch was taken away by God, he did not die
Elijah was taken away by God, he did not die
The Lord Jesus Christ which you recognize as Angel Micheal and another Mighty God [apart from the Father]
Jesus died, buried for 3 days and resurrected and for 40 days walked the earth before being taken away by God

So what happened to John 3:13?

New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures
https://www.jw.org/en/library/bible/nwt/books/john/3/#v43003013
13 Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven+ but the one who descended from heaven,+ the Son of man.

zqUDpIk.gif

It is a mistranslated - because even the JW Bible says Enoch did not die and was taken away by God, ascended to heaven, transferred to heaven. So what is the faithful translation of the verse?

John 3:13 Living Bible (TLB)
For only I, the Messiah, have come to earth and will return to heaven again.
Bible Gateway passage: John 3:13 - Living Bible

That is the more fair translation of the John 3:13 because the Lord Jesus is the 3rd man to ascend into heaven, Enoch was the first man to be taken away by God to heaven.

Hebrews 11:5 Living Bible (TLB)
Enoch trusted God too, and that is why God took him away to heaven without dying; suddenly he was gone because God took him. Before this happened God had said how pleased he was with Enoch.

Hebrews 11:5 New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures
https://www.jw.org/en/library/bible/nwt/books/hebrews/11/#v58011005

5 By faith Eʹnoch+ was transferred so as not to see death, and he was nowhere to be found because God had transferred him;+ for before he was transferred he received the witness that he had pleased God well.

So how come you made this grave mistake?
Maybe your church and your pastors are not genuine.
And believe me, I am viewing JW.org and find some of them not scriptural.

It is a biblical concept. John 1:12 and John 3:16 come to mind.

It's neither cheap nor easy, our Savior paid a massive price. If I'm starving and you give me food, it's a free gift for me but cost you for the food. I don't get more of a free gift by trying harder or asking harder. It's a free gift I receive, like a vaccine for a (sin) virus.

Salvation is a free gift, Romans 6:23.

Adam did not die the day he ate.

.

I wonder if you understand what a Idiom is? Adam was told that he would die if he took and ate what God told him not too . That he would then die/be dead to God . Adam was ''good as dead'', to him , for doing what he was told what not to do .
The term “as good as” refers to the something almost; virtually; or nearly. Therefore, tracking the logic and notion the expression “as good as dead” relatively tends to demonstrate that ‘someone is almost dead or dead-like, if he/she fails to execute pragmatic or down-to-earth plan or strategy’.
You ,in your own reasoning , wanted Adam to fall over dead like he was poisoned ? Or perhaps struck with lightening ,toasted to a cinder .
Adam ,and any offspring , at that point in time became ''estranged'' to God. and by the way ,all most all would remain in that condition until the millennial rule of Jesus the Christ was fulfilled.
Revelation 20:5 ''(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.''
The ''rest of the dead'' are all of mankind that would be getting back what Adam lost . they would then be living/alive to God.
