Does Trump have less political experience than any other President we've ever had?

By "rat hole", I'm thinking of another war or dysfunctional giveaway program.
I don't judge government expenditures based upon personal gain.

I've no feelings whatsoever because nothing has happened yet.
It might or might not be another rat hole.

Also, by your own logic, Hilda hasn't done anything yet, so how are you concluding of her hypothetical rat holes?

Their flavors of corruption differ though.
Trump made his money in the private sector,
while Hilda depended upon gov connections.
Regardless, deception and corruption is a part of Trumps arsenal of political tricks. The entire "Wall and make THEM pay for it" has been debunked. Further, if it gets funding, it will be more than the entire budget of NASA. If political corruption and deception is a voting platform, if I were a Trump voter, I would be disappointed.

Curious then... What's your opinion of a wall alone over thousands of miles because that's the only detail he's given?
I don't think the "wall" will be a continuous wall.
That makes no sense for cost effectiveness & wild animal preservation.
Especially in mountainous areas, sensors, surveillance & interdiction
would be more cost effective.

I don't get worked up over speculation.
I'll see what he actually does.

I'm referring to how I judged each candidate before the election.
Hilda isn't in the gov policy picture currently.

Now Trump is a vortex of corrupt. He makes his money from political deals with his business allies AND through shady business practices.

How is he making money off of politics now?
(Something more significant than Ivank's department store fiasco.)

If it's not a continuous wall, then couldn't the immigrants go where the walls don't exist? Assuming of course, that the wall is a deterrent in the first place. If they were willing to face death prior, I don't see dangerous terrain as anything different. I hope you're right about surveillance and sensors. I assume this to be the use of technology which should help. But, that has not been suggested by Trump or maybe I'm missing something.

I'm referring to areas where natural obstacles are daunting.

Any barrier can be defeated by determined people.
But this isn't an argument against barriers.
They deter some, thereby reducing the numbers.
The issue is optimizing money spent v threat reduction.
Find where the first derivative of the function is zero.
There's your optimum.

Trump has failed by losing billions of dollars and declaring bankrupt four times. I personally don't mark that against him overall. But let's be clear that evidence suggests he can fail and go kaboom in a big ball of fire. This should be true if you base it prior to the elections.

What are you going to do to stop him from doing something you think he might do?
(I picture you on a horse, galloping off in a cloud of dust.)
So far it's made me more politically active on a scope I didn't even think possible before. Became a member of our local ACLU chapter, participated in peaceful protests, called representatives, attended speaking events, networked with other democratic groups and civil rights ally groups.

I can agree with that. How then is Trump proving the cost effectiveness of this wall? I'm not seeing studies or evidence to suggest it. I'm actually seeing data to suggest against it, but it's not conclusive to be fair. Still, he wants to build it so he needs to prove that it will work. Right?

I don't see how this relates to the thread?

From the article.....
"So it's hard to claim that Trump is actually making money on running for president, at least not yet."

These articles (based upon the titles) only speculate that he could benefit.
Basically it's obvious to anyone with their fingers not buried in their ears.

Good for you (so long as you're on my side regarding the issues).
But I was thinking more about criticizing Trump for what he actually does,
than criticizing him for what he might do (as though he's actually done it).
